Is This The Worst Thing I've Done To My Car? Datsun Build Ep 2

In this video we pull the original driveline out of the datsun. This was a bit of an emotional milestone as the driveline was running perfectly and I've had this car for a very long time! This was also a big step forward in the build as we are ready to start test fitting the new drivetrain!

I did a v8 vega years ago. The hardest parts were getting the stock gauges to work with the v8, and the rear diff swap to handle the newfound power. I think you will find these to be a couple of your challenges also.

That would have been a riot! I have some new gauges that I'm hoping I can use to remedy that problem. I'm still working out a solution for the rear end. The diff is supposed to be pretty strong but the axles aren't, and strong axles are very expensive! So we will see! Thanks for watching!
