Honister pass is simply out of this world, spent a night sleeping under the stars there last summer.
Love The Lakes, been there many times! my favourite town is Keswick and favourite lake is Derwent Water.

Thanks for your comment and you sub
Many great memories. But it's Windermere, not Lake Windermere :)
Ok thanks for the info
Is this captured during winter?
I think the end of September
Nice video, but the town you drive through that you name Amberside is actually Ambleside!
Ok thanks spelling mistake
@@ExploringNature1 Plus you still have your 'chapter' as 'Grasmere' when you're driving through Keswick. I think (the TOWN of) Keswick is significant enough to not be grouped in with (the VILLAGE of) Grasmere!
I thought immediately that Grasmere to the Honister (NOT Honeister) Pass was a bit of a jump, but that explains it!
You really ought to distinguish between lakes and the places they share names with. You pass Buttemere (the lake) about 3/4 of the way through your Honister Pass section, then when your Buttermere section begins, Buttermere (the lake) is well behind you, but Crummock Water is the major feature and isn't referenced (very misleading!) Then suddenly we're in Keswick (surely we were here earlier,) with Derwent Water is less than a mile away, but you disregard that and just drive around the centre of Keswick.
Some narration would be nice.
Seems like you picked a god day. Not a traffic jam in sight. Almost 20 million people a year come here now, and it gets horrendously busy.....
Only in the bigger towns and the Southern/Eastern lakes, it’s still pretty quiet in the Northern and Eestern fells, most people don’t go more than 100 metres from their cars.
It's not "Lake" Windermere, it's just Windermere. The "mere" part in the name actually means A large open body of water......
Nice video. I was in Lake District more than 40 years ago. Your music is a bit mournful and low-spirited. May be you should have a more soul-uplifting music, more cheerful.
Wtf. Two minutes in and it’s all driving through towns might just as well haven any towns anywhere in the uk
