- With its new Streetfighter, Ducati has once again raised its profile where sporting supremacy and undeniable character are concerned. But is it so good that another Italian naked sportbike can't compete with it?

My buddy has the 2007 Benelli 1130 TnT and for some reason the bike only gets around 15mpg. We filled it up 4 times on a 3 hour trip to Daytona Beach!!!
@RogVMax Product placement. What would a ducati be if it was a tamed good ol' all arounder with no controversy?
maybe it comes from the fact that when you watch bike racing on tv it shows DUC on the scoring thing.. my father has been around motorcycles for roughly 45 years and he's never once heard them called Dukes so..
I supose they should have tested the TnT Evo against the higherspec streetfighter s, But your right they should have used their better bike. But truely many people will find these bikes different and have different opinions. I rode lots of them dukes and a 1098 I rode felt heavy but the streetfigher and 1198s felt extremely light. The set up of the bike can change things, so I supose its really which bike takes your fancy and if you can afford it. They all great :)
Liked your review, bit music is too loud, added to the wind noise
In the UK it's the norm to refer to Ducatis as Dukes
@LancerFIN Hmm.. I never thought it to be uncomfortable. But then again when I think 100mph+ comfort is probably one of my last thoughts. What bikes have this comfort @ 100 in loose clothing anyway?
I think it was a great review.
what of the tnt 899?
Streetfighter v2 2011 i 😍 it... N awsm review
The Benelli sounds, and looks like a chainsaw compared to the all mighty Duc!
The real question is how will the Benelli hold up.... in comparison to the S3... granted I ride Triumph so I am biased but I do really dig the looks and sound of the Benelli for sure.
Love Benelli design 😍
I must also comment on the power of the benelli vs the streetfighter. The benelli has a larger motor and I believe the streetighters power has be retuned for the bike so its not as brutal as a 1098. I rode the streetfighter s in the rain and were so impressed with the amount of grip it has. I accelerated hard to see how much it takes to spin the rear wheel and I was in shock. I asked if the traction control was working and they said it wasnt on. Amazing machine
@AniruddhaNatekar They used to until KTM introduced their 690 Duke and 990 Super Duke models. Both of which are street fighter bikes as well so they refer to Ducati's as "ducks" to avoid confusion.
@beabellucci I think You mean 1.76 meters, not centimeters. 1.76 centimeters is about half an inch.
@RogVMax Streetfighters aren't made for high speeds anyway. Mostly for stunting and city driving. You can drive 100mph with streetfighter if you have proper gear other wise wind will rip your clothes and it doesn't feel very good.
How is the legroom on the TNT. It looks gorgeous, but unfortunately a lot of Italian sportbikes don't like my long legs (RSV4!!!) My brain says get a BMW S1000RR, but my heart says TNT EVO.
@monkeypainter808 Well loose clothing is never comfortable at high speeds but sport bikes with full covering and windshield which forms air bubble that protects you.
this was a good review...good job, because half of your vids are poor and the other half is decent
it's what people have called them since the 60s at least
Haveing tested a Ducati streetfighter s model and a standard 1098 and 1198s and 848. I must comment about the heavy steering. The first bike I rode was a 1098 and it did feel heavy but later I tried a streetfighter s and 1198s and the s models seem to feel extremely light in comparison. It could also be how the bike is set up. I thoguth I just aswell try a 848 and it felt heavy like the 1098. I put it down to the lighter wheels, ohlins why the s model is more superior.
why are you testing a 2008 vs 2010?
i wonder if their going to wheelie in this clip?
vid title wut. also, i would make love to either bike.
@RogVMax That bike is far from uncontroversial.
I know.....
@RogVMax the one whose buying it? Not that I disagree
I know......... I am a videographer LOL.
really?? I have been to bike meets for 20 odd yrs and never heard it!! they say duke.
The left guys voice is so ... not right for reviews.
why does he keep calling the duc as a 'duck'?. .. isn't it supposed to be more like 'duke'?
and brittain, its what people have called them forever in english speaking countries
well I live in uk and they don't call em duc here!!
I didn't realize that Benelli built big boy bikes, I thought they only built scooters and minibikes for children or american men.
George McKean lol go fuck yourself.. im sure there are a hell of a lot more "men" in your little backwoods country riding mopeds and scooters than there are here in the us.. as a matter of fact no one that i know here rides less than a litre sized bike. So fuck off.
oh dear you dont know nothing about history of motorcycles
I have one and call it a Duc!
@monkeypainter808 Just anything that is loose on you. The reason why people driving choppers are wearing leather.
"duck"??? WTF??? duck!!! OMG!!! its a ducati orrrr duke.. OMG "duc" is this normal in usa to call it a duck.
@LancerFIN what are you wearing, a dress?
Benelli is uglier than Ducati.
raaka24 I agree! Im not sure how they came to the conclusion the Benelli was the better looking bike? Lol
