- I searched the darkest corners of the internet for the best mods for Richard Burns Rally, and this is them all put together! This is Mikko Hirvonen's new Fiesta with Jarmo Lehtinen's pacenotes.

while driving, this does actually look pretty convincing...
good driving mate and those few lucky saves... after first save you started to drive more carrefully as I saw :)

Thank you so much for finding a replacement link, I'll add it to the description. To install, try running the .exe and when it prompts you to select a destination folder choose either the main RBR install folder or wherever the original France textures are located (hopefully that should work, I don't have RBR installed so I wouldn't be able to tell you properly).

Nice driving, man. RSRBR 2013 is out now, so now its time to install rbr once again and maybe try and improve my enb setup if time permits. Hope someone finds a copy of those textures eventually.

There is a friendly RBR community that you could always ask. Arma has a good community as well. We'd all like a new RBR game, but this is the best we have right now, and will have for a long time. The whole install process comes with step by step instructions, if you hit a snag on the way, ask someone. We've all been the new guy.

As far as I'm aware Rallyesim doesn't have these mods on their site, which is a shame. Because of the obscurity of some of the good RBR mods, it's best to use Google when searching for what you want, rather than a particular site. Although Rallyesim is a great place to start if you're new to the game. Aside from the textures mod, the other links in the description still seem to be working, check them out if you're after a particular mod from the video.

I'm afraid I don't have a copy myself so I can't upload it! Not sure what happened with the mod, I'm sure there are some good alternatives out there though.

There are countless tutorials but they aren't even slightly necessary...It's really very simple and self explanatory.

isnt Logitech DriveFX wheel dont hav clutch.. so how you clutch or change gear on semi auto ? btw.. nice pc setup, no need to be glorious like the rest we find on yt.

They should do, however the links are broken for the France textures and I can't find a replacement. I can tell you for sure that the ENB and pacenotes mods will work as I tried them out recently on RSRBR 2012. :)
Codemasters are doing a survey for a new rally game google " codemasters community survey" and you will find it. It's long and you can see that they contemplate going for more realism. Tell friends to take it too and tell codemasters we basically need RBR 2 :)

I did this race with a Logitech Drive FX, but I don't have a wheel anymore I'm afraid so I wouldn't know what settings are the best. I hope you get all your mods sorted!
Oh I thought you meant for the ENB settings. Yeah the France one has been down for a while and I can't find a replacement link. If I had the file I'd upload it myself.
Yeah for France textures mod. It comes up "File not found" and redirects me to the main page.

RSRBR 2012 should have a nice bunch of Imprezas to choose from! For graphics the ENB series mod in the description gives RBR a nicer feel, although there's no download for these France textures anymore sadly. There's a great pacenotes mod that replaces the original with a real recording of Robert Reid that I'll add to the video description for you, check it out. Unfortunately I've neglected RBR for a while now and I don't know what all the best new mods are, but those should be enough to start!
How do you get the 'pop' sound on gear change? Mine doesn't do that!
Pace note is not available. Can we still play with this mod without it? I have RBR 2013, will it play without RBR 2011?

i saw one physics mod here on youtube with black lancer but they only gave link to facebook page and its a nightmare finding anything there
we have just been talking about this on the inside simracing forums... if just ONE of you RBR forum community users could do a tutorial step by step installation video with all mods so many people would be gratefull...

If you mean these France textures then sadly no. However, you can use Gimp's ENB settings used in this video to enhance the looks of any track in the game.
is there reverse track mod so you can play every tracks on reverse? please reply me thanks

@RfactorAlvaro Yes it works in RSRBR, I have now posted the links in the description :)
@RfactorAlvaro No problem, I'm not sure, I have an ATI graphics card, so I enable antialiasing in CCC, if you have an nVidia graphics card then enable AA in your control panel :) I know some people have problems with AA but maybe I got lucky :P

I installed rsrbr 2012 installed all the packs but jst cant get it to work any ideas?
I was racing RBR Years ago.. but stickin to normal sims like LFS/GTR/rFactor for the last few years. Now with owning a STI again (03 Blobeye) I want to feel RBR again with my new Rig. Which Mods should I use now to get the best experience/physics/graphics ? Those modern Cars are nice to have too but i need a 03 Impreza as well ;) (so I could damaged ingame, better than my realcar lol) .. would be nice to get some hints from you mate
I'd assume it comes with this particular car, try the '11 Fiesta.
If anyone got the Lethinen Pacenotes i would be more then happy to have them. All the links to the mod are dead for some reason :/ It would be fricking awesome!

I wish RB never died.. Imagine what we might have today for a rally sim. Better than RBR physics and better than Dirt 3 GFX. Selfish, I know, but true.
The sound is from the RSRBR 2011 mod, although I advise you to go get the new 2012 edition!

So.. Does the game get laggy with those mods? I dont have a good graphics card but I have a good processor.
You can play without the pace notes mod, or swap it for a different pace notes mod of your choice. RBR 2013 should work fine with the rest of these mods as well.

I am new to PC and was thinking about RBR mods. There is very little tutorial info on specific mods to specific games. I do not feel comfortable trying to do a "mod" just because of problems you describe. I also had the same problems as you with arma 2. A total waste of money. I bought the entire bundle on Steam and ended up deleting it because it did not work. Thanks for the heads up.

Pirated the game till now (just default things no mods lol) liked it and ordered it for 5 bucks. I have a lot of mod experience so I might end up making a couple of soundpacks if ur interrested?
