I think I've said it before, but just in case I'll say it again. Thank you so much for uploading these. I can't get Spotify to work, so I'd be missing out on the visuals without these videos. I listen to all of the episodes on repeat a lot of the time in my podcast ap (with the exception of one episode which I never want to listen to again).
I do hope that the Burls can understand that Spotify just plan isn't accessible for a lot of us, but that doesn't mean that we're all only watching here. I listen to Distractable and Go when I'm doing chores or when I'm sleeping. I've been through both archives multiple times, but missing out on Distractable's visuals really sucks. This is the only way that I've found that I can see those.
@@TheGodlyKratos Bob's Real Boy Test. It is an interesting episode in and of itself, but it really needs the visual along side it. The ending though is honestly mentally bad for me. I am trans, and the punchline of the episode is something that is used by transphobic people to delegitimize people like myself, and push for policies which actively discriminate against us and ruin lives. This was not the intention of the episode, but it still really hurts to hear something like that.
Bob did apologize for it on the subreddiit. It was very well written, but I was really disappointed that there was no apology within an episode. the only reason that I happened to even see the apology was because I happened to be looking at the Discord at the correct time, before that new episode channel got overrun with other messages and burred the link to the post.

its okay to feel uncomfortable, but i really dont get why youre disappointed it wasnt brought up in an actual episode?? it wasnt an actively bad thing anyone did, and plus, bringing that up in another episode would just remind everyone of it (potentially triggering stuff). the fact bob even gave an apology really says a lot tbh, in a good way of course
@@thatwaterriver3824 I entirely agree that having an apology was a good thing, and I do believe that it was very well written. I disagree on there having been no actively bad thing.
The language that was used at the end, in essence, is the same as what a lot of people in the area where I live use to justify doing a lot of awful things to people like myself. Lives have been ruined and there have been deaths. I did not feel safe coming out to a relative because she used that language for years.
The reason that I am disappointed that it was not brought up in episode format is that not everyone engages with the subreddit. I can't due to accessibility issues. I can barely use the Discord. The fact that I even saw the apology was really up to chance. Ideally what I would have liked to see was a standalone short episode with an apology. That way it could be skipped, but it would also be just as visible as the mistake that was made. I don't know if their Spotify contract would have allowed this.
Again, I am very glad that they acknowledged it, and will work to avoid that sort of language in the future. I am very disappointed, but not angry that it wasn't in audio form.

Story At the beginning, the main homeowner was an alcoholic. My ex was/is an alcoholic and I helped her entire relationship so I had firsthand experience with alcoholism, and yes, he would’ve been passed out because of 36 hours

@@josephkoch6494 I provide 24/7 care for my 76 year old grandmother who has 2 types of cancer, Leukemia and Non-Hopkins lymphoma, I've been doing this for just shy of 7 years, how am I to get a "normal" job if my grandmothers everyday requires assistance. If I got a job and hired a nurse I'd be paying more than I would be making and I have no other family to help care for her not to help pay for a nurse, so how would you propose that I acquire a normal job or insurance under my circumstances. Keep you smart ass comments to yourself and take away from what your elders always said but change it slightly to keep up with modern times "if you don't have anything useful to say, shut your ignorant mouth."

A reason a person would check his home/ yard to see is they got hurt or need help? Was the backdoor locked this just so odd?
