I do think the logistics are unlikely though. If he ran that long, his calorie intake would need to be through the roof. You burn about 100 calories per mile. Average jog speed is 4-6 mph. If we say 5mph speed, if he is just jogging all day, he is covering around 40-60 miles a day, if he jogs 8-12 hours. So he would need around 4000-6000 calories on top of whatever his body might normally need. So he would have to be eating like a body builder except he wasn't carrying any food, so where was he finding all that food when he is often in the middle of nowhere?

I know this wasn't a serious conversation about Forrest Gump but there was enough context clues that implied (AND narration that expressly stated) that he didn't run continuously for 1,170 days and 16 hours without a break (5:57). Not only is he shown wearing different outfits after each edit in the montage (implying he stopped and at least bought new clothes and changed) but he flat out stated the following: "When I got tired, I slept. When I got hungry, I ate. When I had to go, you know... I went."
I was in the army and during long runs people would pee and poo themselves. I've vomited after a run ,but I've seen people pee themselves during a run.
Cumtown Brainwars by Asian Fidance channel is a really good one. Perhaps you guys could get into some longer format ones but break them up like you do when you react to specials.
What bothers me in this movie the most, is lack of consistency in level of stupidity of Forrest Gump. He doesn't know where to stop when he runs through the football field, which is really bad. But the other they he is able to figure out where the place Baba was fro is, how to get there, he buys a bloody boat and starts his fishing business by his own. I wouldn't know how to do that...

The movie really surprised me in how much I enjoyed it. The negative backlash is mainly a result of this being WAY over praised as better than 'Citizen Kane' and it was the fourth highest grossing movie ever at the time which meant it was in the same class as 'Star Wars' 'Jurassic Park' and 'E.T.' which it's nowhere near. If you weren't alive in 1994 and 1995 you can't understand just how much media attention this movie was still getting even a year later! Director Robert Zemeckis was declared the greatest filmmaker in history which is really odd since his previous project was the blaxploitation film 'Trespass' which he wrote and produced. 'Trespass' is a great thriller and arguably a better film!
