How can one retire there? I became enthralled with Lafayette at an early age when visiting my relatives that lived in a very nice, secluded home in the area. I'm not retired yet, but I would like to be able to move there because it's perfect to me. I just think the living prices are far too expensive, not to mention the liberal climate of the state makes it almost unlivable today.
