I’m 47 now been riding racing dirtbikes since 1982 I’ve owned 28 cr500s ! I’ve broke sixty bones 60 yep ! I have never fallen off a cr500 ever so respect the beast eh love y’all from Alberta Canada

Never get tired of talking about CR500's...I've owned two. My '87 would upshift climbing any sand dune. One of my favorite stories is my buddy Greg with his girlfriend at the time Amber on the back wheelie-ing DOWN Oldsmobile Hill on one of those things. This one sounds really good.
I’m about the same age as you Ken, sucks getting old. We get sidelined from doing something we used to do on a daily basis, without a thought or care, but now it’s a week long heal process for a minor muscle injury ! 🙄
Wow that 500 motor def has a unique tone and revs out clean and fast like a 250.....i wonder what mods robbies mechanics did to the motor and suspension cuz im sure its not in stock form.
Looks like rear suspension adjustment wiped him out on this one. The rear end kicked back so hard it bucked him off. I have a 91 CR500 as well. Thanks for the videos.

That motor sound like it was completely ported and polished along with over bore back in the day my father and I raced 2 Stoke flattrack quads and we did all our motor work that clem research didn't do we ran cam 2 and blenzal racing castor in them
