Please do not tag videos like this as "ASMR" -this is not ASMR, does not contain any ASMR content, and is not even related to the topic; this video is actually the opposite of anything related to ASMR. Please do not use deceptive tags to attempt to get views, it will not get more viewers or subscribers for your channel, is considered spamming by the Terms of Service and will only result in videos getting reported and flagged. There's nothing wrong with the video, it is just absolutely NOT ASMR and should NOT be tagged as such. There is absolutely nothing relaxing about animations of illness, injury and disgusting body horror like these copy paste animation videos and many find them offensive, and very loud and/or fast talking and music are also not a part of what ASMR is. ASMR is supposed to be calming and relaxing, and the LAST thing anyone looking for actual ASMR content wants to see is a revolting videos of people with deep bloody wounds, body horror, deep infections with maggots crawling out of them, maggots and worms squirming in people's mouths with disgusting thumbnails..whoever told you this video should be tagged as ASMR is lying to you, it will NOT get "massive views" but deliberately violating the same Terms Of Service everyone agrees to when they sign up for an account can get you reported for abuse. PLEASE stop misusing the tag ASMR for these. Thank you for listening.

The ASMR part is the audio, which is similar to ‘classic’ asmr audio, and even if the video can make some uncomfortable, it is relaxing in it’s own way, through the methodical movements, and I wouldn’t call the title misleading at all, it is quite clear from the thumbnail what you’re in for. It may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but it’s still a type of ASMR, just a different subtype from what most people think of as the content. It’s okay if you don’t enjoy it, but don’t go bashing the creators over it, just avoid this sort of video, and ignore it when it’s on your feed, it’s not that hard.

@@undynlicia7554 I appreciate your taking the time to respond and the thoughtful response, but I have to disagree with a few points. While I can somewhat see your take on the audio (on this video, because most of these have loud and blaring music and or voice over, which is not ASMR at all) as being "similar" to other videos, but based on the majority of people in the ASMR community I have talked to, most find the content of these far from relaxing. Regarding ignoring this sort of video-it's a bit of a challenge to do that when a search for "asmr facts" (or just about any other term with asmr as part of it, I talked to several people who had to stop seeking any videos with "asmr doctor" because the thumbnails upset them) results in countless videos like this, all with progressively more graphic and disgusting click bait style thumbnails and hashtags and keywords that misrepresent the content that one has to scroll forever past to see actual ASMR content.
I understand there are people who might get something out of the content, fine-but these animated graphic videos are being deliberately misrepresented by people who spam these over and over with misleading tags to "get views". Most of this is as a result of a group of scam artists who post videos telling people to deliberately use misleading tags (which is classic Black Hat SEO) to get more traffic-recently about five of them did this with these graphic animation videos to create a massive flood of them-but they also do it with scraped TikTok content and gaming videos that are part of a scam, placing the ASMR tag on shorts that have nothing to do with it and most of them being very loud and not the least bit a part of the genre. As a result, the search is unusable for others and deliberately misrepresenting to get clicks is against the TOS-it is not fair to other users or creators for that matter if one group gets to sidestep the rules for views. And it is not easy to ignore these if search results are flooded with them, especially when there is no way to filter out "shorts"; I do not access the internet on a phone and use a desktop/laptop as do many and it would be nice if we could just not have to see shorts at all in results. Until then, the only option to keep this at bay has been to point out and sometimes report when people are deliberately exploiting popular tags.
Finally-I did not intend to "bash" creators for the content or those who might enjoy it-I am bashing the misuse of tags and especially with such graphic thumbnails…were this tagged as something else like "interesting surgery animation" or "disease animation" it might work, or maybe this category needs its own subgenre tag until there is finally a way to filter undesired results from the search. That way those who might want to see this sort of thing-which is fine if that is what they like can, and others who do not care for it do not have to. Sorry so lengthy, but I appreciated your thoughts and wanted to explain further where I was coming from.

@@asmrreading4195 I understand your viewpoint, and apologies if I seemed overly rude or mean, I was trying to explain my thoughts on the matter. Thank you for further explaining your stance on the issue, and I can better see where your coming from now, and I had no idea videos such as these were as intrusive as they were. Although I personally still see it as a weird ASMR sub genre, I do agree that it would be better if it had its own name, to make it easier to avoid for those who don’t want to see it, and easier to find for those who do.
Also, I appreciate that you responded civilly and in detail, not many people would in your situation, and change this from a discussion to an argument, so thank you for not doing so, and instead allowing me to better see your side of the issue.

@@undynlicia7554 Thank you for the apology, but none needed at all as I did not construe it as being rude or mean in any way whatsoever, as you stated, you were simply expressing your perspective. I apologize if my initial comment that prompted you to respond was a shade harsh, if so it was likely due to the fact that the video was about the fiftieth one I had seen like that so far that day when I saw it. I am glad I was able to better clarify where I was coming from, and thank you as well for taking the time to listen and respond thoughtfully, especially in this day and age where the art of respectful civil discourse has unfortunately become a dying art which I wish more people would practice.
