Thanks so much for the recreated tour of Knossos! My Dad was from Paleochora, Crete and I visited the site back many years ago, and I was impressed how contemporary the architecture appeared with its open stairwells and winding shafts for light. It was so different than most of the monumental architecture of the time. Thumbs up for the virtual recreation!
Merci!
Amazing work and attention to detail, I actually live 4kms away of Knossos palace been there many times and your reconstruction seems very accurate. Have you seen the Knossos reconstruction Unisoft did for AC Odyssey?
Many thx!!! No I haven't seen the Knossos reconstruction Unisoft!!! Many thx!
@@flippedprof check it out they have done an outstanding job in all the historical places across Greece 😉
Love it. Just a shame there are no people to bring it to life, even if stood in two`s or three`s as though in conversation.
I absolutely love your work

Many thanks!!
Grazie
Grazie Antonella!
This is amazing work! Thank you very much for making this available on CZcams, I'll certainly be sharing and encouraging people to see it in my small podcast's show notes and media.
Many thanke dear friend I love Knossos and make 3d reconstruction for my students teachers and for all people who love flipped prof works in the world! Have a nice day. Marco
Great job
Thx!!!
So beautiful and 'unique' the Minoan civilization truly was the first sophisticated European society. I say 'European' because the styles are not seen to the east of the Minoan settlements and these styles made thier way as far as the 'classical' Greeks and Romans, who are very much decendants of the Minoans.
Many thanks!
Looks like a SPA centrum. :D Good job!
Thank you very much for your creation!
Many Thx Aristides!!! Many thx!!!!
What a beauty
Many thanks!!!
This is very helpful, thanks a lot!
Many thanks!
Magnificent, do we have access to the original blueprints or is alot of this guess work?
amazing, really useful. My teacher named Ms Chrysa put me a video, not only for me, but for my class
I'm very happy to know!1
amazing work, really useful to my class!
Many thx!!!!! I'm so happy to know that you want use it for your class! Have a nice day!
ACHO QUE NEM O TEMPLO ORIGINAL DE SALOMÃO SERIA TÃO MARAVILHOSO E CRIATIVO.
What a wonderful job, at times it feels so familiar to me and I would have loved to be one of the painters of the palace, adorning the walls with red and yellow and those swirls and circles.
Many thanks for your amazing comment Nicole! Have a nice day from Flipped Prof Marco :)
These buildings feel small here but in reality they would of been massive. It's crazy how something so old almost looks like a small modern city
It was an amazing civilization!

Amazing work. All important ancient buildings should be reconstructed in such way.
By the way, let me ask you a very stupid question: were there toilets, or latrines, in the palaces? That might not be of much historic importance, but probably it was somehow significant for the folks who lived and worked there.
Many thanks Tony! Yes there was evolute like in Akrotiri! Have a nice day and Happy new year!
Mucias gracias Alberto!!!!!
Extraordinary palace
Many thx!!!!
Amazing! Do you have available your work to virtually walk inside the palace?
Thx! Not again, but in a future sure!!! Have a nice day!
Wow what a great city thank you I’ve always wished to see this city it will be great if it was video game thank you 🙏🏻
Who know! Many thanks for your words! Cheers from Flipped Prof!
Wonderful techno artistry!... Two suggestions: have some of your panning movements go slower and more natural, like a human walking and looking about. Also, populate with people walking here and there in the distance...Again, incredible, astounding work!
flipped prof ❤️😃🥂👍
Grazie Davide!
i am not a civil engineer but i tell you it is impossible to have such stone roof in every room space you are presenting.....probably there were made from wood , that technicaly is possible
thanks ! :)
Thx to you!!! :)
@@flippedprof what is the software you use for this ? and do you have real plans of Cnossos ? :)
@@worc974 I've rebuilt this palace the first version with blender, yes it's the real plans of the Palace and Cnossos :)
Is Amazing :O
How much do you sell 3D Model?
Many thx! But for me It's only a passion for 3d world and for my job :)
Is possible use this model for a game? Like a shooter or something, the idea is walking freely in the palace, and make it better know for people
In a future why not! Yes sure but it's so big big big file size with so much details for export it in UE4 or Unity but I wold it's a possible in a future. Why not? Thx Marcos!
Amazing😍
É UMA REALIDADE 3 D,MAS EU BANHARIA COM SÂNDALO E ALMÍSCAR,AS ESCADARIAS DO PARTENON, E DOS ACHADOS DO PALÁCIO MINOICO.
Amazing I love the expeirience
Oh! Many thx!!!
Thanks for your great work! (Even though some parts might look a bit speculative).
Many thx I have tried to be as close as possible to reality through the many months of history research. Obviously it is very difficult in this case, many thanks!
Nice video, but you know that the so called "throne room" was no throne room? And that the so called "prince of lilies" is a faulty reconstruction made of parts from several other frescoes?
Many thanks!
Ciao amici!
iF IT WAS IN THE AGE BEFORE THE ROMANS INVENTED CONCRETE AND THE LACK OF VAST AMOUNTS OF WOOD BEAMS TO HOLD THE STRUCTURE UP HOW DID THEY DO THIS SUPPOSED RECONSTRUCTION
Very good 3d effect, but that doesnt help us to understand better the plans
the objective front too much walls and corners.
YOU made this?!?!?
Yes! it's me !Do you like it?
What do you think about?
@@flippedprof I love it. Your Agrippa's Pantheon is glorious as well.
What software do you use to make these?
@@mythiclore5508 Many thanks! Usually I use Blender :)
#VIMPELAMAGDA
Laid out like.... like a car park
I'm not agree with you
how in the hell did they span that distance with masonry?
did they have steel reinforced concrete technology?
Bleah
Grate visualization but not trues, sorry! For example some frescoes were in other places in the palace, and the famous frescoes fisherman, taken from the Acrotyri on the island of Santorini
Thank you but you don't know perhaps the reasons for including the Acrotyri fresco. I tell you :) I have placed that fresco to highlight the strong relation between acrotyri and Crete and I have specified this many times. Maybe you don't know this. The reconstruction in the map is very reliable and starts from research by Evans. Have a nice day :)
@@flippedprof I do not follow all your works sorry and I cannot know about what you said somewhere earlier. Crete was also connected with the Cyclades, but you exhibit elements of Cycladic culture in the Knoss its logika. But i really enjoi jour video
@@tallinga Yes also roman made copies of greek civilitations i know that in egypt and to Cnossos there was paintings that was ispirated to these culture. In any case the relations from Acrotyri and Cnossos are very very strong It was frequently this from and Crete and egypt was a strong relation diplomatic and commercial. Many thanks for your words. Have a nice day
Tarkus sultanat
wtf noman
Not more than three floors!!! Something is wrong with this video!!!
It's more easy to say that something is wrong...more difficult make this!!
@@flippedprof Not according to Sir Arthur Evans.
@@vice4134 For me so many things said by Sir Evans are true. For example the colors of the columns, because he has examined an ancient fresco where the color was painted my the local artist in blu and red colors.
