Been after that Roshi for awhile. Used to find him somehwat often years ago, but always really expensive. This one was missing his staff, so was dirst cheap. Luckily I had a replacement!
I will be in Tokyo in time for this year's SupaFest, can you tell me please which station/entry you mention is your tip to enter via, VS the main garden entry? I've got a map of the park up but getting fuddled up!!
I still get lost on occasion when I go there 😅 I show the station and path in a previous SuperFest video, but having trouble finding that. Best to just take the one you have through the main garden. If you happen to see me there, I'll explain the path I mentioned so you can take it when you exit! :)
i remember as a kid all my parents could afford was bootleg toys from like flea markets and stuff and i hated it as a kidi wanted the real deal but now bootleg toys are highly sought after but its cool i still cruise the net and especially ebay for bootlegs once again a great video
so much robots in one place! it's amazing. so...he bought american stuff in Japan? he's never seen Z-Bots? i got some on clearance at TRU decades ago. at 14:00 that ninja with the hat, i got one of those (different paint) at MAXWAY a LOOONGGG time ago. I also got some robot dude with batwing (think=batman's batwing jet) wings in the same bootleg line.
17:20 that looks like the sofubi version of the Solbrain figures i just reviewed on my channel. Mine are small, about 8cm tall, metal and plastic, articulated well. i think they are from the Metal Hero line, too.

Do you see many Japanese wrestling figures when hunting around events or shops?
The shops that have them are few and far between, but I know a couple spots that are your best bet. One I’ve made a video at before, and other I know that The Major Wrestling Figure Podcast has done an episode on one too.

Looks like as vintage stuff gets even older and more scarce, the variety at Super Festival is now much reduced. Back in the late 90s my pen pal was able to help me get many brand new sealed items. When I attended myself in 2004 there were many case fresh G1 Takara Transformers available.
Yeah, this is true to a degree. I also only filmed a handful of the booths... plus this and the last Super Fest were "half sized" "extra events" since they haven't held a full size SuperFest really since the pandemic started. But yeah, 2004 WAS A LONG TIME AGO 🤣
