Start going again! I just grabbed my old Reidells out and me and the fam are going every weekend. Its been years and I still got it. Lol.
Same. I was a 90's rink rat. Every weekend and any other chance I got from age about 5-13. I'm 37 and haven't skated in 25 years...they're still jam skating to the same music lol. Man that was so much fun. Screw it, I'm going and get me some skates tomorrow!
I miss rollerskating.I done it for years as a matter of fact everytime it was open, I was there. Wed night. Friday night, Sat night, Sundsy evening and Sunday night. I was pretty good, then I got married. So sad. Am 73 now and would do it now if I werent afraid of falling and breaking something. They say after you get older a break is sometimes hard to heal. So I just watch these kids and wish I could be there with them.
These kids are great, and the Rink is incredible!
I really liked this because it's not just a video of great skaters, they are actually giving a little history of their individual stories.

Has the cleanest clearest sound I've ever heard at any rink I've been to.
God I want to throw on my Rydell 595 boot hot pink laser wheels. Lol I skated from 9 to 38 yrs old. Me and the old gang used to go on adult night over at Semoran Skateway they are raising their children and things change when ya get old. Lol You guys enjoy it! The yrs go fast. 😀
Do they ever send you clockwise? So you can work the right leg 😆? Where I learned to ice skate, they turned us in the other direction for the second 1/2 of the session.
I remember when I went skating back in the day, they would do reverse direction skate, every so often. Lol. I would imagine they do, but no one ever films it. Lol
Not often but maybe once a skate time..

Facts. Age has nothing to do with it. I started up again after 15 years and Ill tell ya, i am just as good now as I was then, took only 15 minutes to gain my bearings. lol. Such incredible fun and a great work out. :)
Need to drop Detroit and we will slow you how The Motown skates with drops, one footers, going backwards under 10 ppl legs and throw is a few spinning 360's in the middle.

that is break skating.
depending on where you are from "shuffle skating" has been called jam skating since the 80s

You didn't make good speeches in mrs Wilkins class and i guess you wont make any good speeches outside of her class either.
