Canadian Pacific 2816: The Empress Across The Show Me State

As part of its Final Spike Tour, Canadian Pacific 4-6-4 #2816 "The Empress" ventured into new territory heading southwest towards Kansas City, MO. Due to track work and dark territory on the former Milwaukee Road line, it made for a very long day for both chasers and the crew as she loped along at 20-25 MPH for most of the day, but that made it easy to catch more runbys than anticipated.
