Have you guys considered doing a review of an electric unicycle like the InMotion V11? Learning curve can be pretty steep, but once it clicks, great little commuting PEV that's very capable. Love mine :D
Just got one of these specifically because I have the original GoTrax scooter (I guess the V1) for over 3 years with no issues whatsoever. I imagine hundreds of miles on it. Still holds a charge and the tires are good but the range isn't great, maybe 10 miles max. Battery is a little weaker than it used to be but I weigh over 180 lbs and load it up with grocery bags as well so it didn't have an easy life. If I get as much use out of my new Gmax Ultra I will be more than happy. In my experience GoTrax has been a quality, reliable brand of scooter.
@@TCBBB22 I've got over 180 miles total on mine now. I've done plenty of trips over 10 miles each. I would say my battery will make it conservatively 25-30 miles on a charge. If you go full speed everywhere the battery wont last as long for sure. I would also check the tire pressure. The tires lose air periodically. Make sure its around 35-40 psi. Other than that it seems like something is wrong but technically the weight limit is 200 lbs.

Here is a Throttle tip for u guys that For some reason Gotrax never ever mentions 🤷🏻♂️ . The throttle only becomes active when the display changes from odometer to speedometer. So you don’t have to push faster or double pump the throttle, you only have to Waite two seconds after you push off for the display to change from odometer to speedometer. ………. You’re welcome : )
I leased an unagi for months and… it’s an incredible scooter but the range was like max 15 but I think that was at like 9 mph max. If you engaged both motors at 20 mph, you’d maybe make it 4 miles.
Just wanted to follow up with you guys, I had a couple questions about the digital display on the scooter: How do you change from mp/h to km/h? When I boot the scooter on I can see all the LCD information and bottom right it clearly says km/h. How do you reset the odometer? The manual provides no information on either of these actions. Any help would be appreciated!
Hey Alex, I believe u cannot change it. I bought my scooter from Amazon and when I contacted gotrax directly about the warranty they replied “please contact amazon as we dont ship our scooters to Canada” that answer probably means besides amazon they r only sold in the US which explains the mp/h display and why u cannot change it. I bought the scooter At the beginning of summer after putting 400 miles on it The front locking mechanism No longer locks in place correctly due to the fact that the metal has grinded down From folding and unfolding the scooter.
They currently do not make that specific part you either have to fabricate your own or Weld it together but then that defeats the process of finding and unfolding i currently have upgraded to a different scooter And keep in mind not everyone will experience the same problem But it is quite dangerous especially when you ride and the stem starts to wobble if the locking mechanism comes on done At 20 miles an hour It's not gonna be pretty

YES it is.
Should be getting mine in a day or two!!!! Save some money on gas!
Is it OK to use in wet conditions?
Yes. Water resistant although not water proof
Have you had a problem with the stem coming loose ?
So far no we haven't, it has been very sturdy
Any way to increase the torque at lower speed?
Stay in first gear

What kinda millage are u getting with it?
No one ever answers the mileage question
Wow! My daughter or ex-wife would do great on something like this! Where gas is $10 a gallon...
Is this water resistant in case it rains?
Probably better off to just get Ninebot Max. Same specs, but has good water resistance rating, and looks better.
I agree ☝🏼 since Gotrax in general isn't the best. But it is water resistant. Not waterproof
