The Pinhole® Surgical Technique is a minimally invasive procedure that allows us to restore the level of a patient's gums after receding. Exposed areas of root surfaces can become sensitive and are prone to developing cavities.
Pinhole® Surgical Technique requires no cutting, no stitches, and virtually no downtime, and can often be completed in less than an hour.
The benefits of the Pinhole® Surgical Technique
• Less discomfort for the patient after treatment
• Faster recovery than traditional grafting
• No need for uncomfortable stitches
• No need for scalpels or invasive surgical tools
• No need to take donor tissue from the patient’s palate
• Excellent, natural-looking, long-lasting results
Wow. Just wow
I have a bad gum disease may i get ur detail i want treatment
Does this technique have a permanent solution?
Hi
Please let me know where is your office?
I need surgery🙏🙏🙏
Thank you
Where are you guys located? I have periodontal disease. I did LANAP on the left side in2020 and the recession has gotten better, but the procedure cost me $7000 out of pocket bc ins didn’t pay. The right side needs tx now, so I’m wondering if the pinhole sx would help me.
Find a good dental school, faculty practice. I had my whole mouth done with LANAP, by an excellent professor,$2,400 6 months ago.
Hi, Can this technique be use to fill small black triangles that been caused by gum recession?
Hello, this procedure along with any gum recession treatment can not repair "dark triangles". There are some cases in our office that have some degree of coverage. The goal for any treatment with these types of cases is to thicken the tissue to prevent further bone and gum loss.
Hi. Does the tooth need a filling or other treatment before this procedure?
Hi Melissa,
We actually remove any and all fillings from the area we are treating. This allows us to cover the defect and keep the tissue from migrating back to the original location. If we do not remove the old filling the gums will not stay in place.
@@drjohnchaoI wish I could afford this treatment. I think I will try to DIY it 😩
