Looks like you drilled into the bone and set a wire and then drilled into the tooth and slide it down on the bone. That would have been a great surgery to watch. If you do another one, you should film the whole thing. (or maybe you just bonded to the back of the tooth-- like the periodontal splint)

So I'm assuming you pulled them and then put in a stud and then crowned it to match..?? Why not show what you did?

Can pinhole surgery be done on the INTERIOR side of the tooth gums? (the "underside" that joins to the palate - the side that you can't see when the mouth is closed). I've only ever seen images of pinhole surgery being done on the outside gums. Thanks.

Everything I read online indicates that you can't tighten or fix loose teeth in adults. All recommend either stinting, implants or removal. All those options sounds severely depressing to me.

Dear Dr Chao, thank you for this amazing pinhole technique. I recently asked my periodontist if he could do it on my receding gums but he said Asians tend to have thinner gums and it won't be as effective as the traditional gum grafting method. He explained that because of our thin gums, it won't hold its position long and eventually will slide back up. He gave me example that if he were to pull down the gum by 5mm, later it will slide back up or down (depending on upper or lower jaw) by 2-3mm, so one will only be left with 2mm gum coverage over teeth. What is your kind comment on this? Hope to hear your reply as it will be so helpful.
