    Thank you for showing me the location. It was just like a 906 and a few kicks got it working

      Worked for me on a loader for about 3 months until the good old whack did nothing. Hope you never have to do one. It’s not an easy job.

    For anyone who is struggling to get the black box off of the fan/heater core like I was, there are 4 screws on the bottom side that need to come out, 2 on the lower front side of the box (you can see one of them in the video), the white arms on the driver side that move the vent doors need to come off (there are 4 of them), and all the screws going around the center where it splits in half.

      But did you have fun bending and twisting in ways you didn't think possible?

      @@meh-canics9628I did. All that work to get the box out. Like fuck.
      I took it all the way out and did it on the back of my truck. Took all the screws out and there are some metal brackets that need removed on top. Then the snap locks in the middle kept locking once I broke one side free and went to do the other side the side I just got free would lock back up. Ended up sticking some mini screw drivers in the locking tabs and pulled hard and it finally came apart.

      Well it looks like I messed up somewhere. Now that it’s all together, the vent selector doesn’t work. It’s suck on blowing out the floor vent. Seriously what a pain…

      It was wonderful! I think one you quotes in the video sums up this job: “well, foiled once again by the engineering department”

    Doing this on a 250, big help looking at this nightmare of a video before tackling it.

      BTW the 250 fan box drops out from under the cab housing so DON'T pull apart thee dash. Lol

    How did you separate the black casing around the blower? Working on the same exact model and I’ve came to this Predicament…

    • @meh-canics9628
      @meh-canics9628  Před 2 lety +1

      Once all the screws/ clips were out, I think I used either a flat bar/ scraper, and or screw drivers

    • @garzalalo2009
      @garzalalo2009 Před 2 lety

      When splitting it apart did it take quite a bit of pressure? Just afraid something will break if I apply to much pressure… It almost seems like it’s in some kind of a bind I’ve removed all the screws and tabs.

      @@garzalalo2009 from what I can remember, I just shook it apart.
      I think it was just the foam seals around the rads holding it

      I removed the whole casing/box after clamping the heater lines and evacuating the refrigerant. What a pain in the ass just to get this far. Now the whole thing is sitting on the back of my truck and now gotta figure out how to separate it all to change the fan.
