Don’t forget that Fujitora’s fruit was revealed in an SBS (or Vivre Card, I can’t recall), so not all fruits of important characters are revealed in the story

True, but all the characters Tekking went over today already have Vivre Cards (except Kaido, I believe), so the fact they still haven't revealed their fruit name implies they still will have a big story reveal.

I like the idea that Karasu is just a Crow zoan that had mastered his fruit to such an insane degree he can, rather than turn parts of himself into parts of the animals, turn parts of himself into the entire animal. I think adding a mastery and skill level above awakening is better than adding an entirely new kind of fruit just for this one guy in this case.

Most of the community I heard bet on the Kaze Kaze no Mi (Wind Wind Fruit), since it would explain him creating storms and his actions on Goa Island during the Sabo flashback: a brief moment where he appeared to be floating into his ship and using his wind powers to create a tunnel to save the people from the burning trash.
Quetzalcoatl is more related to sun, much like Apollo from the greek mythology despite also being the god of oracles, healing, archery, music and arts, etc.
@@SuperSylar I’m wondering, did you get your information on Quetzalcoatl from fate, which is a series marketed on being slightly inaccurate. I know my mythology and I even triplets checked after seeing your comment (I’m not upset or anything just to clarify. I’m just a nerd who loves mythology). All my sources, internet and literary, equate Quetzalcoatl with the wind and rain.
@@blue_moon_0464 Since it's a deity from a lost civilization, it's up for interpretation from whatever sources one could find about it.
Most of what I know or seen talk about Quetzalcoatl, is as a "god of agriculture", one could relate to sun, wind and rain, but mostly the sun (dawn; morning star) cuz he rivals Tezcatlipoca, the god that mostly represents the night.
Like I said, it's up for interpretation, since there's many other gods just in Aztec culture that represents either sun, wind or rain, not only one.
Other pop culture references may also be blame of that like Persona series and
Jackie Chan Adventures (never watched/played anything of the Fate series), but I think the best video I've seen talking about Quetzalcoatl is this one (czcams.com/video/451jzIesWoU/video.html), not necessarily claiming him to be the god of only one thing, but representing many things, including some relation to the sun.
Also, if you're interested in other Aztec culture stuff, I recommend the animation "Onyx Equinox"; it's quite unique in the way they represent the Mesoamerican culture and gods.

I think Lafitte has the Siren mythical zoan. It makes total sense as sirens in myths are usually female, which explains Lafitte’s feminine appearance.
When he traveled to Mary Geoise, he easily bypassed all the security defenses of the sacred land of the World Government and joined in the meeting for the new Warlord of the Sea nomination. Later at Marineford, before the Blackbeard Pirates sailed to Impel Down, Laffitte infiltrated the control room to hypnotize the Marines present there without being noticed.
Sirens have the ability to hypnotize with their voice btw. But yeah just a theory.

The Impel Down guards, Dalmatian and Epoida seem pretty self-explanatory as regular zoans (though it would be interesting to know if Epoida can become a butterfly or only a caterpillar). Onigumo is most likely just a spider zoan, but his hybrid form is unusual compared to most zoans, in that we've only seen him grow the extra legs. It could be he just has more refined control over it, as other highly skilled zoans like Marco also seem to be able to transform only specific body parts at will.

For Laffitte I’ve always got the impression of him being a mythical zone harpy.
I feel like Laffitte might be a mythical Harpy zone. He’d probably have some sort of scream side ability I always kind think of singers with tap dancing(he looks fresh out of singing in the rain).It would also make him a reflection of Marco, like how Burgess is to Jozu and shiryu is to Vista.
I also wondered that. Sirens were also sailor myths so it makes sense.

Maybe Urouge has the Stockpile fruit. He stockpiles the damage he receives and gives it back.
Laffitte is noted to have the power to hypnotize. So a mythical bird or a winged creature who could hypnotize people would be a fit for Laffitte.
I also support the idea of Kaido being an actual dragon and having another fruit. He is known as the strongest creature, not man. And in BigMoms kingdom, there are are no giants, and two races doesn't exist. One race being King's race, and the other one is unknown. What if the unknown race is the dragonborn, and Kaido and Yamato are the last people. Which also explains why she never could "recruit" anyone from that race (just a theory tho).

I have a topic that may be interesting to talk about. Oda was asked to draw characters in 1999 that will be important in the future. He drew 4 characters, 1 we have seen but the other 3 we haven’t. It would be cool to discuss and see who the other 3 could be.

While accidentally cliffhanging us for years when it comes to the name of Kidds Devil Fruit.
Lafitte probably has a bird bird fruit model Owl, he can hypnotize, fly without making any sound, and this explains how he suddenly appeared in gorosei meeting.
I think Lafeet's devil fruit is the Feather-Feather fruit or the sound that a flapping bird's wing makes and Urouge's fruit is maybe the Revenge-Revenge fruit (just think if the pokemon move Revenge for reference). Also what about Fujitora and the Animal hybrid Jailers from Impel Down
One little extra fact I was sure you'd mention in this video - Kanjuro's Devil Fruit is the only one where we have seen the fruit itself, but still don't know its name. It looked a lot like an ink bottle, so I personally think ink-ink fruit is most likely, and inku-inku no mi fits the naming convention pretty well. However, doro-doro no mi (draw-draw fruit) also works very well.
Sudden thought: If Oda wanted to use doro-doro for Kanjuro, that could be why he went with numa-numa (swamp-swamp) for Caribou instead of mud-mud, as this would also be read as doro-doro.

I think Laffitte has a paramecia - feather-feather fruit, silent movement/stealth and his background as sheriff fits (in ancient egypt they used to belive that when you die your past live is judget on scales, on one side your hearth and on other side FEATHER). :)

Great vid Tekking, but in all honesty, whenever people mention Dragon might have a "Wind" Logia I think they forget Caesar's Gas fruit, but him having a Weather/Cloud Fruit makes enough sense and could work pretty well

Also ....this is how i see it atleast....his fruit being a reference to the japenese(i think) koi legend/myth means (again, to me atleast) that there could be other fruits based on ancient myths/legends. I mean look at sengoku with the Golden Buda fruit. Stuff like the Mythical Cerberus fruit, or Mythical Crane or Tortoise fruit, or sumthin stupid strong and an all-in-one fruit...the Zodiac Zodiac Fruit.
@@tbunder13ttay12 From what we have seen so far the Mythical Zoans follow a trend of being mythical animal versions of existing Zoan fruits. The Phoenix is a Bird-Bird Fruit, Kitsune is a Dog-Dog Fruit and Sengoku's Daibutsu fruit is a mythical Human-Human Fruit. So somehow I doubt there's a Zodiac-Zodiac Fruit. If there is it probably won't be a Zoan. Much more likely to be Paramecia.
Now obviously the Fish-Fish Fruit wasn't known to us until now. However a fish still isn't a mythical animal. The Koi that became a dragon however is.
For Urouge I propose the "manly manly fruit".
Also I think they said during marineford that Lafitte hypnotized the guards. That could be part of his devil fruit as well.
And then it's revealed that Karasu has in fact the ito ito no mi model Alfred Hitchcock.

I think Karasu might have a mythical zone because the Norse god Odin is occasionally depicted as a group of crows but it’s generally only 2 however there are a few depictions of him as a larger group of crows.
I've always assumed Lafite has a Harpy or Siren fruit and has a hypnotic type effect power that he can use with his dance or something.

That's a good question, I don't think that was explained nor shown in One Piece before. I'm kinda wondered if the Devil Fruit that the mother ate a Devil Fruit could transfer to it to the baby or just the mother.

Bonney: Toki-Toki, Inherited
Dragon: Conqueror's haki, concentrated on the air
Blackbeard: Has a teratoma.
Lafitte: Feather-Feather, abilities more like Hawks from MHA
Urouge: Uses a martial art which replicates the abilities of dials

Lafitte is probably not a normal zoan since just getting wings would be kinda weird hybrid form. I'd argue for either a mythical zoan model... seraph(?) or more likely an illusionist themed paramecia. That would account for his stealth, flying and hypnotism.

Karusu i reckon has a Special Paramecia, because his fruit appears to be intangible like Logia Fruits, but he doesn't affect a natural element like most logia fruits. And he isn't a Zoan because well it doesn't appear to have the different forms like other Zoans, because he can split his body apart with his fruits and fly around

Hey Tekking101, can you do a Theory video for Blackbeard's Third Devil Fruit theory and maybe a theory video for a Language-Language Devil Fruit please? (I was thinking of a Devil Fruit that grants a user to use translations similar to like Apis's Devil Fruit that grants her to know what the animals speak and gets the knowledge of any languages pretty easy including reading the Pontafics like Nico Robin)

Here's a fun fact for you. Hotori of God's Army has an unnamed devil fruit. It's called the Kami Kami no Mi. It gives him the ability to control the universe as if he was God; he could wipe everything out in an instant, but he knows that's overpowered so he's never used it. To resist the urge, he's filled his skin-tight tuxedo with seawater so he is always in his weakened form, which is why he appears cartoonishly bloated. But if a time comes when a greater threat appears, say a similarly named pigeon, then he may have to be forced to use his abilities. Let us hope that day never comes.

I want Laffitte’s fruit to be something that seems dumb but could be useful like maybe Laffitte has the “wing wing fruit/flap flap fruit” that just allows him to grow wings on himself but if awakened he can sprout wings on any object to make fly, just like how Robin can sprout limbs.

Great video as always. Though the only one you really forgot was Otama's devil fruit, which is both really weird yet also kind of simple. That and maybe some of Whitebeard's commander's like Blamenco but those are like extremely minor characters.

There's no evidence Kaido can swim. It's pretty clear that (if he is a dragon mythical zoan and not just a dragon), his extra ability is the various elemental breaths (boro, air blades, lightning) he can make.

Karasu is mosty likely a Mythical Zoan Human-Human fruit: Model Tengu. Tengu can take many forms and one of them is even called Karasu-Tengu.
When it comes to Kanjuro I think you should focus on hair. When Oden first met him he was stealing people's hair to make brushes. It's probably some yokai's power.

What's weird about Lafitte is that he can also hypnotize people, and that the rest of his body doesn't transform when the wings appear (unlike every zoan we see). He looks more like a skypeian or King's race, except that he has to spawn the wings. He doesn't need a fruit to hypnotize people - I mean just look at Django - but I feel like the Angel fruit could work and would be the coolest for sure
