- In my docufilm "The Susegad Life", I had the privilege of delving into the conscious tourism company 'The Local Beat Goa' and their remarkable journey. Through this documentary, I aimed to capture the essence of life in Goa and the vibrant culture of its hinterland, all while highlighting the authenticity of Goans as they navigate the touristy state. Moreover, it was crucial to shed light on the issue of over tourism and its impact on this beautiful region. I hope viewers will gain a deeper understanding of the challenges and opportunities in preserving Goa's unique charm through this film.
Great work 🙌
Just so true. Why isn't this video getting more attention?
I guess people want to see more beaches and parties in Goa. But hoping someday this film will reach most people and give them a gist of what Goa can be.
Just what exactly i love Goa for. The beauty the serene the peace of this place❤. And the video is completely peace to watch nd how it focused to narrate the actual beauty of Goa and people to know Goa has so much more to offer than alcohols nd clubs.

I can see your effort the amount of time spent behind the scenes and ofcouse the fun little stories that took place while your stay in Goa.
It's incredible!!!!!💯💯

Thank you so much Karishma 💐🫂
😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Besttttttttt one so farrrr ❤❤❤❤
Wow❤
I love the way this film is shot, could you please tell me what camera & lenses were used to shoot the opening monochrome shots?
Hello, Thanks for your comment. I used Sony M-IV and samyang 24-70 f2.8 to shoot most of the scenes. Samyang 24mm T1.8 cine lens for some of the landscapes and interviews. I hope this helps. The monochrome effect is just a post production magic in Da Vinci software.
@@Themushroomtheories Thanks bro, this was really helpful. Looking forward to cross paths someday!
Loved it❤
It’s beautiful 🥹🥹
Susegad cames from sossegado (portuguese) that means quiet, peaceful, in peace.
Once you live goa you will never leave goa 🍁❤️
I will be very thankful to you if you can tell me the place name appeared at 7.00 min i want to see this place.... Superb video
Well, I believe you will find these places eventually if you roam around in Goa, but I can't reveal them publicly and that's the whole point of this documentary as well to see what's meant to be seen and not commercialize all the places which leads to a lot of impact on the environment and people too.
@@Themushroomtheories just request to tell is it in south goa or north goa
@@Themushroomtheories visited goa almost 20+ times and many times solo... Exploring goa from those days when i hire activa and run on any random place..today places which are famous due to Instagram i have seen those places accidentally when these places are not famous or you can say its normal local places.
I agree with you and respect your reason too... I normally travel in monsoon or in feb... Daily 100-200 km on activa... The feel i experience on two wheeler i cant expect on four wheeler
Goa is kaabar
VIVA doesn't mean CHEARS. VIVA its a Portuguese word meaning ALIVE or LONG LIVE
Thanks for pointing it out. But I believe there are multiple meanings to the word ' Viva ' and used as interjection in many phrases across Goa. 'Cheers' also makes sense according to the Portuguese Goan Vocabulary.
@@Themushroomtheories I like to visit Goa. next i will be there in December. We can meet to debate this 😂
@@cristianefimov3611 I really wish to entertain you, but my friend, we all have important things to do in our lives. Let's carry on with that.
