Hi there. You appeared in my feed whilst I binged junk journals. I had no idea what you were doing going in. It's my first time hearing the term "glue book." I got into journaling and related crafting because it also helps with my anxiety and I find it fun. It also functions like a sensory toy for me (also autism) and I can hyper-focus on it.
Love your use of origami paper. It hadn't occured to me to use and I like how fancy a lot of the paper is and I've wanted some thin papers to work with; my everyday journal and commonplace book is starting to bulk out a bit.
I like your excitement and enthusiasm. I had a good time sharing your glue-book experience. It gave me ideas of how to decorate pages in my journal as well as some image boards. Also, I need that cute little paper cutter in my life. That would be a perfect fit for my travel journal tote. So much to go on the shopping list! I'm excited.

Ive been gathering supplies for a huge cat junk journal/glue book... to document and keep track of all the years of my feral colony I support and take care of.. I have years and generations to document... Its silly but I love my kitty family tree... I know when and where and who are the parents of so many kitties.. and will also document when I trapped them and fixed them etc.. side note.. I played softball (catcher) kindergarten thru high school. which one of us is the single white female? lolol

This book is so cute. I did a Cat glue book back in 2019. Tomorrow I turn 60 and getting ready to start another book of Cats! May mix dogs in. I have a mixed animal one too. Plus, many more. Enjoy watching your art though. Mine is sloppy. But it's fun!

Nikki I was telling my screen that you ought to do a dog book on one side then a cat book in the other side. Kinda like the kids books that have two stories that each go to the middle page (hope that makes sense to you).
My favorite bday cake is angel food cake with chocolate whip cream "frosting" and strawberries (mom adds a bit of chocolate milk powder to the whip before frosting it).
This is great! I plan on making a dog-themed journal. I found some awesome wrapping paper that has dogs on it, and found some material that has dogs on it to use as my cover.
Sounds great! You can't go wrong with a dog journal!!! Check your junk mail too, often times theres ads for pet supplies (dog food, grooming, etc)...I like to cut that stuff up too. Free is a very good price lol!
I feel the same way about getting together with people. I have anxiety too and I’m very self conscious about my weight. And I do not like having my picture taken either.

I love it! We have a Yorkie. Love him so much. My granddaughter and her boyfriend just got a dappled long hair dachshund. She about 9 weeks old and is adorable . Her name is Lola.
We lost our border collie just over a month ago, and I am gathering materials for something like this - you should put some photos of your own dogs in it and perhaps record things that they like/liked, and other memories of them.
