    I've watched this three times. Wonderfully clear and specific. So many little things we forget under stress. Jolie is a delight to watch!

    This walk through is amazing just what I need. I just started 3 weeks ago and I'm so new my only issue is keeping the whistle in my mouth I'll have a panic attack.

    EXCELLENT Scott Warner! This is exactly what I was wishing was available when I first started trying to learn FR several months ago. I still got lots to learn, so I am can't wait for the others to come out! 😎👍

      Even after 46 years of training dogs I still love to see a dogs progress. Such an under estimated animal in my opinion. :) Thanks again :)

    Interesting that during your heel command the dog is anticipating the sit so it is walking with its rear very low. Is this something that judges look at in terms of scoring?

  • @SplinterFox
    @SplinterFox Před 2 lety

    I could use some clarification on the heel on leash portion.
    You mentioned that the judge is looking for your dog to not sit on the horn, but Your dog sat after your three steps.
    Is the dog allowed to sit after your three steps?

    Any suggestions for working with my 8 month old? He has the attention span of half a fruit fly. He likes food and toys, but neither keeps his attention. I keep training short, but he doesn't seem to learn anything. He bites great, so we're just concentrating on obedience for now, but it's very frustrating. Thank you for any advice. :)

    What's the point of the muzzle heel versus the other heel exercise? Why do both? And are muzzles popular? Makes the dogs look like Hannibal Lecter.

  • @animalobsessed1
    @animalobsessed1 Před 7 lety +1

    Are the commands allowed to be in any language, or do you have to choose between English and French?

    • @warnerk9
      @warnerk9  Před 7 lety +1

      animalobsessed1 good question. You are allowed to use any language you want but must stay consistent with that one language for your formal commands.

    is brevet before ring 1. why does this seem harder than ring 1. BH in IPO is lot easier .

    Is this the same as fr 1 walk through

  • @taygodly

    Could the French make this any fruitier? They judge you on how much of the leash is protruding from your hand Jesus fucking Christ.
