As a UCLA fan and alumni, after watching week 1 it's Dante's job... He showed arm strength and touch. He had one bad pass (int,) but he needs to work through those moments and not get immediately benched by Chip
As far I am concerned as a senior Bruin Alum, Chip Kelly would benefit from playing all of the QBs, in the first couple of games so that they can get their footing. Garber should start, but the others should see alot of minutes at each game. Playing builds confidence, not practice.
I have no worries about the Garber v Moore battle. I think both are QBs that UCLA can win with, and i trust that Kelly knows what he's doing. He's more than proven as much by rebuilding UCLA and being able to bring in a player of Moore's talent. Also Moore has stated that hes not going to transfer if he isn't starting Day 1. I expect that Kelly will roll with whoever gives the team the best opportunity to win, and eventually that will be Moore.
Moore. Get him some experience this year so he can be ready year one in the B1G. If you're trying to win the most games this year, go with Schlee or Garbers. I still think Moore is the most game ready freshman QB in the country though.
moore is a phenom... he's the future of the program... could be the best qb we've had since gary began (65-67) only bruin to ever win the heisman (67)... huge mistake not to roll with him now behind center... with him starting we could win the pac 12... without him playing... no way... not a chance...
Schlee seems like the best bet to me. He has a similar skill set to DTR without the tendency to make mental mistakes, and it would be a smooth transition for the team. Moore has a higher ceiling, but he's a freshman and Kelly's offense isn't forgiving to inexperienced QBs. I've not been impressed with Garbers. I'm a Kent State alumni, full disclosure.
@@flipmex1 He does get a little wild, I had been thinking it was partly due to the low talent surrounding him at Kent. But, if it's in issue at camp at UCLA, he needs more work. It looks like it's gonna be Garbers for game one, so the press release said.
If I’m Chip, I go with Dante just for the risk of him leaving if he doesn’t start. He has the highest ceiling and I think if Garbers couldn’t beat out DTR the last 2 years, why would he be a better choice than Dante? Dante is also intelligent, I think his learning curve will be very steep.
Maybe DTR beat out Garbers because he was older, and more importantly: he had more experience running the offense. Let's not forget that DTR flew under the radar and showing as much in this year's preseason. But I guess the reality of situation doesn't matter when u want to spin ur own personal narrative.
@@Blue_Phoenix24 There’s no personal narrative here pal. Lifelong Bruin fan here. I call it like I see it. Truth is if Garbers was so great, he would’ve beaten out DTR for the spot. It was his 3rd year in college last season, he wasn’t a 17 year old straight out of high school. Don’t get emotionally attached.
@@flipmex1There was zero chance of DTR being dethroned last season. He was the heart and soul of the team. You may be onto something tho. Garber is likely no good.
Who should win the job? What team should I do next?
Can you do Louisville

We have 3:
Garbers
Schlee
Dante
You nailed it. Garners named starter.
I want to see what Garber can do. People forget he was a highly touted recruit as well
Seen Garber play in games. He never looked like anything special.
I would say Moore! He needs the experience to grow and develop.

Exactly man. I’m fine w Moore or Garbers both are really good.
You don’t start Moore you can be certain he will transfer. He came to UCLA to start not sit.
main reason he went there instead of UO
Should have won job then. Bummer is ucla paying him as if a starter
He’s a bum!
They not paying him his money either

last years QB class has potential to be one of the best classes in a long time.
I couldn't agree more.
Donte Moore, Arch, Nico, Arnold. We could be talking about this class for a long time
@@victorblack1092 Malachi Nelson is very Bryce Young esque, as well.
The whole team perked up when Moore went in,He will surpass all the rest
Can you please talk about Marshall
QB Musical Chairs is not the solution.
*Unless you have made a video on this before, you could make a video on UWs running backs. The clear starter is ruled out for the year due to injury.
Pick on e QB and go with him. If you makes too many mistakes then go withy the next guy....Musical chairs IS THE WORST METHOD
What happened to woody Barrett???

I’ve heard the issue with Schlee is the inaccuracy. He has the strongest arm though.

Just like Missouri. They were pretty solid. With like 80% Texas kids, then stopped playing in Texas lol just dumb.

LOL. UCLA has the deepest QB room in all of college football.
UCLA and usc are going to struggle.
no SC certainly wont as as their QB stays healthy.
