Why does that disqualify her from knowing what she is talking about. She states facts that have been studied. I mean, by your estimate, no one should ever debate any issue, unless they themselves have lived it. Imagine if never serving in the military meant that the president of the USA couldn't have an opinion on the actions of the military... that's how stupid that argument sounds.

Seriously? She’s acting like she has the inside track on how to be a good woman/wife/mother when she hasn’t experienced the majority the nonsense she preaches about. Why would any woman take advice on those things from someone so vapid and desperate for attention. You equating it with military service, which isn’t a requirement to be president, is the more ridiculous argument.

    • @ffsno9078

@@NickWonder1 my point is not that she hasn't lived those experiences and therefore shouldn't debate the issues. No my point is that Pearl has not and is Still Not Living the Life That She Is Demanding of Others. That's hypocrisy. Also in Pearl's world view men are the only ones allowed to be happy, too have feelings, too have wants and desires and dreams and ambitions. Only men's feelings matter. Men are the only ones allowed to live the life of their own choosing.. And men should be lazy, arrogant, rude, belligerent, controlling and entitled inside of their relationship. In fact it's encouraged! Pearl has even gone so far as to preach against the sanctity of marriage vows with a whole list of reasons that it's perfectly acceptable for a man to commit adultery, an act which God found so repulsive he made it one of the 10 commandments. Given that she thinks all men should get everything to the determint of women I can see why you are falling for her schtick. Fortunately women are realizing that they don't have to have a man in their personal life to feel whole.

Four plus? A hundred years ago, women "gave" their husband 12 children.
It wasn't because she or her husband wanted that, it's because there was no birth control.
If it was only 12 and not 16 it was probably because she died during childbirth.

    • @philliphessel6788
      @philliphessel6788 Pƙed 22 dny

There was birth control, but a high birth rate was needed to make up for a high childhood mortality rate.
Also, a larger family was more often advantageous given conditions - on balance worse -for the working class then, under which putting children to labor could be necessary to make ends meet.
Today, quality of education and other investment per child routinely outperforms sheer number of children.

@@ryanw5569 When you call someone "a moron" you should first be able to grasp what they're saying, because he is correct.
Let's say there are 150 marriageable people. If 120 of them marry and then 60 of them divorce, then the divorce rate is 50% of marriages, but 40% of the population.
If you have 150 marriageable people and only 60 of them marry and 30 of them divorce, then you have a 50% divorce rate, but only 20% of the population (setting aside double+ divorcees).
But that's not even the argument he's making. What he's saying is that there is a sample bias error. If the marriage rate has dropped from 80% to 40% then those people who really, really wanted to get married are less likely to divorce.
Check out the Wiki page on sample bias for a more detailed explanation. In general, try to keep in mind your IQ is about 100. You're not smart enough to insult other people's intelligence.

(Did I mention just like other human beings?), and these aren't matters that should be taken very lightly. I think it's a very reasonable and perhaps even good thing because it shows that we care. Maybe we shouldn't be listening to people like Pearl and Fresh and Fit, but in the few instances when they or other people like them are correct about some things, leftists flat out deny it, which makes a lot of men shift towards the right. I used to think these guys were stupid, but now that I think about it, the leftists are equally just as stupid for denying basic reality sometimes in order to not concede a few things to right wingers (things which don't even necessarily make you a right winger if you agree with them on and can even be used to bolster feminist narratives btw). For example, it is a FACT that women **generally** prefer the men they're with to earn more than them. While it may not always materialize into real relationships, this is what every piece of data shows --from trustworthy sources to not so trust worthy sources, i.e., it's just "common sense" in many cases and more so in other cultures. Look at the classic song "No Scrubs, " and various media references to this whole notion that we see on an almost daily basis for example. Um. "No money, no honey."
Yet, whenever I bring things like this up to a leftie woman, they always hit me with "So what if that small percentage of women are like that?". These are the same people that will hit you with "No money, no honey", a few seconds later (in other words, they buy into that too but just won't admit it if it's a man complaining about it). Then I tell them that there are studies, then they start being anti-intellectual and either casting doubt on such studies that they'll never even have the patience of being presented with, or downplaying the whole idea of studies altogether. It's basically just a bunch of dumb people reacting off of each other. Most of the lefties I know are dumb as shit, but just happened to be lefties because they just happen to exist in the correct social spaces which allowed that to happen. They were correct by accident. When the dumb lefties dumbly deny reality to the other dumb men that surround them, the dumb men end up feeling invalidated by the dumb lefties, and as dumb people do, instead of having to do the cognitively engaging task of deconstructing their worldview to decipher what is true and what is not, they just lazily and dumbly buy into the wrong ideology, which just happened to validate their [very important] feelings... because in the end, we ARE dealing with a topic that actually MATTERS to people. These are matters of the heart... Congratulations on your 18 year long marriage btw.

I was going to a bar with karaoke about a month maybe a few days less than that until I had to leave for Basic training for the Air Force. I'd just broken up with a man who owned his home and had a good bounty hunter business as well as an ex wife and kids with her. We were friends before dating so I'd like to think he still is but I digress. I saw the back of my hubby's blonde hair at the karaoke table setting it up and I didn't recognize him. When he turned around and our eyes met across the room and I was literally given a vision. I was old with gray hair in an apron and dress sitting in a rocking chair with a glass of iced tea and he was there too sitting in his rocking chair with his sweet tea when the screen door behind us opened and at least 2, maybe 3, younger aged kids (maybe 5-8 years old) came running out giggling, laughing and smiling to run around us in our rocking chairs. We got married the Wednesday before I left for Basic Training that Monday next and we just celebrated our 20th Wedding Anniversary in February on the 18th, just 4 days after his sister's wedding. Her wedding was planned for months and they paid a s*** ton of money and she's not only divorced but my ex brother in law passed away (I actually found a couple of letters that he had written to God begging for death because he could not get his family back and he had desperately tried to do so) leaving behind 2 kids with no dad. 1. women are thought to be saints and can do no evil.
      2. marital laws are skewed soo much against the man, thereby giving women too much power - anybody (male or female) allowed such powers will definitely misuse it more often than not...its called human nature, and if you compare genders women are more vindictive than men.
what pearl is trying to say is women say they want to be equal, then be equal across board- at least fight to clean up divorce laws first...but they mostly want to be mean and expects to be treated like angels.

The "debates" are not a good place to really understand the message she tries to provide, especially when you see videos like this that were edited to cherry pick the statements that would ruffle people's feathers the most without context. Pearl has done hundreds of interviews with men whose lives were ruined by women, then started digging into what was going on and was more horrified by what she uncovered to the point that she started being jaded towards women. Is that unfortunate? Yes, but she does highlight real problems that men face that society has deemed socially acceptable mistreatment of men. She's not the only one (female: ShoeOnHead, Sadia Psychology, Melanie King, Courtney Ryan // Male: Whatever Podcast, Manosphere Highlights Daily, Chris Williamson, Legion of Men). Pearl is just the leading female and gets the most hate/exposure for it. Sadia Khan (Sadia Psychology), PsycHacks, and HoeMath (I know the name is cringe) all have genuine professional psychology backgrounds and explain the issues in either more fair terms or raw terms if you want to learn more.

I saw another comment of yours where you said incels can't be taken seriously, yet here you are trying to BS everyone by claiming women are advantaged in only some divorces. I cant take you seriously with that.
You talked about taking every case by a case by case basis. Why? If women are favoured 90% of the time (which they are), who cases about a case by case basis? Exceptions don't and never will disprove the rule.

She does talk over people, but she didn't lose that debate. She lost the patience and politness comparison.
Of course, marriages can thrive, but people saying porn stars, hookup girls who bring a disjointed mentality to relationships, and a roving eye, and their denial of it's impacts, even deny that part of their life existed, doesn't bode well for future stability or trust.
Promiscuity in woman can bring children into a marriage which is often passed off as the husbands.
You saying, marriage is an opportunity to grow and build together is true, but that doesn't alter the reality of divorce rates. The illegitimate children rates.
Divorce rates dropping.. rates of marriage have dropped, so that may be due to those who marry being more careful about entering it in the first place.
I don't agree with avoiding marriage, but it is perfectly reasonable for people to advocate against it considering the genuine facts of many young women being so very promiscuous and having had so many sexual partners, it is definate they move from one relationship to another with flipancy.
Men may do the same, but all that would mean is women too should avoid marriage... wouldn't it? Not corroborate any insistence that one negates the other.
It's a sad state of affairs.
