- I don't know why it's taken me this long to finally make a video for Jacky Cheung's arguably best Mandarin song, 吻別 ("Kiss Goodbye" or "Goodbye Kiss") but here it is.
This song is IMMENSELY popular and has been covered by many other artists. There is an English version by Michael Learns to Rock called "Take Me To Your Heart" (I made a video for Jin Chi's cover of it here: • Chinese Melody KTV - T... ) and at least one Chinese Melody version.
All video animations, lyrics translation and the overall presentation were done by me. Static background image was obtained from Google Images search on public domain website.

Goodness!! Never thought this masterpiece was created by Chinese 😅I remember back when I was a kid every Sunday evening all the kids in my community will gather to sing this song. It was so popular that this song was played in every occasion.
Yeah, about 20 years ago, an American band named Michael Learns to Rock adapted this song into English, which was Take Me To Your Heart.😁😁

looked this song up on CZcams immediately after coming across a Tiktok referring to this popular song people always sing in karaokes in Thailand and a comment under saying she was in awe when she heard this played in Dubai Mall Fountain.

I thought there was an English version but a group called Nu Flavor remade it in English called Kiss Goodbye. I dug a little in CZcams comments and wanted to hear the original. Man he’s good!
There is a English version using the same melody which is called Take Me to Your Heart. Maybe that's what you were thinking of

1:42 ,3:40, and 3:59. Might be a 不 instead of a 上 in the 讓風痴笑我(上->不)能拒絕 phrase. Although looking at the lyrics online, I do see 上. But you can clearly hear the 不 in the song though. Let me know what you think!

Thing is, we humans are very similar genetically. Like features that are very typically European are not solely European, you can find similar facial features from Ethiopia to Hokkaido. Features that might considered solely East Asian can be found in South Africa such as the Khoisan and you can see epicanthic eyes in Africa and Northern Europe, Eastern Europe and Scandinavia. And likewise you can find similar facial features from South America to Subsahara Africa
His father is from Tianjin (northeastern coastal china near Beijing) which might explain what you are looking for. My grandmother has a very flat nose but because of my grandfather (Shandong) most of us have a much more prominent nose.
