Yo @TONE FACTOR. A new Helix HX update came out a few weeks ago and it includes a new preamp model of the Aguilar Tonehammer aka Agua Sledgehammer in firmware 3.6. Time for an update of both the Adam Kiser and Tanner Erickson bass presets? 🤨🤔

What is the difference between Adam and Tanner's bass patches? They both seem to be EHX Micro Synth + Aguilar Tone Hammer. From what i can tell, Adam's base tone might be a tad more driven but Tanner's has the rat to increase gain when desired.

This preset is great except the micro synth doesn't really sound all that good when I hit the low E F and F#. It sounds awesome everywhere else. Any help with this would be appreciated.

This is pretty normal even for a real Microsynth

Generally, it's not supposed to be played on anything below the low A on the E string. Hope that helps!

You shouldn’t really be using the micro synth on your e string unless your 6th fret and higher, he says in his production online course he never uses anything below a Bb because it has no clarity or anything
