The blue hand painted table cloth would make a beautiful bedspread.

They were all lovely, but I particularly liked the green and white duvet cover fabric, and the small blue pillow fabric 🥰, that was gorgeous. I can see why you wanted to make a top with it. Blue-and-white table cloth...depending on the shape it might make a cool circle skirt (or 3/4 or 1/2). The center medallion could alternatively make a pair of spectacular flounces "sleeves", one over each shoulder inserted into a princess seam. What fun to play with a found piece. The limitations force out the best ideas.
The Pierre Cardin cotton rang my bell. I wish I knew how to find the same fabric in whatever prints and colors it might come in. I couldn't find it but I'll keep my eyes peeled.
I'm really enjoying your channel. It's a nice mix of chic patterns and retooled textiles. Thank you for sharing your work!

I love your thoughts on the blue tablecloth 💜 you're so right about the limitations making great ideas. The Pierre Cardin was not so easy to find online, but with a Google of "Pierre Cardin fabrics" and sifting through, there is this one for example: www.joelandsonfabrics.com/uk/brands/pierre-cardin I'd never seen the fabric line before so it was totally new to me and I keep thinking about going back for another cut as it was on sale and such a good price! Thanks for tuning in 💜

Wow! Another great haul. Here's my thoughts...I love your ideas. The second you held up the first "mod" cloth I thought of pants! The border would be fantastic at the hem of a wide leg ankle pant, but, it may be too spot on 70's, lol. I lived thru it which is why that popped in my mind. The "painted" cloth is hand stencilled. Lots of that in the 1980's. That was a big undertaking! Imagine stencilling all that, trying to keep paint from seeping under the stencils, having to wait for each sections color to dry before moving on, then making sure your placement is correct...that took time! Be careful with the corner motif placement,,,they look a bit leaf like and put in the wrong spot it could read fig leaf (get it? I know you do, lol). The turq one you wanted for a skirt set, I saw it as a slim ankle pant vented in the front with a matching blazer. Again, no idea why, I just pictured you in it. That Cardin fabric!!! Oh, my, the quantity shows even with my old eyes watching my phone screen! Pajamas will be yummy, it may not even wrinkle much when it's that perfect of a weave. Maybe you can use leftovers of that print inside a cuff or facing, maybe inside a flange as a lovely accent. Can you combine the sheet and that crochet work tablecloth for your sister's robe? I couldn't tell if the blues matched. That sheet is just so pretty! I'd be tempted to use it as a summer blanket on my bed. I love all the pillow ideas! Maybe use the outer edges of the crochet as a ruffle on the print pillow instead of piping. That would tie them together nicely. Oh, the turquoise/red cloth... I saw a jacket, something like the ones that were imported from Mexico in the LL ate 1960's. Folkwear has a pattern, I think. Sorry this is so long, I just so look forward to your haul videos, your ideas open my eyes as well and really love your local finds. Hope you're doing well ♥️

Blue table cloth: I think the print was hand stamped. I see it as a long coat.

If you dont cut the blue tablecloth what will you do with it? I'm all for saving fabric for the right project but fabric is not sacred. Its hard to enjoy something if its folded up on a shelf. I think the colors look lovely against your skin.

You have found some beautiful fabrics and I would love to see how you make robes out of tge embroidered table cloths- the one you showed in your video looked lovely.
I don’t think I’d be able to bring myself to cut up the blue and white fabric just yet -I’d have to use it as a bed (or sofa) throw to admire it in one piece for a while before it was cut up - but that’s just me. I hope you enjoy it - whatever it becomes. Happy sewing 🧵 😊 🧵
