Pitch Meetings have really f'd me up. I was at work yesterday and I overheard a conversation between two colleagues, and one of them said "Damn, I bet it's gonna be hard for you to stick to the deadline", at which point my brain was like "Actually it's gonna be super easy, barely an inconvenience".
And here I thought the second guy was going to say that...

It's been really hard to get excited about MCU projects after that, knowing they would all end up doing the easiest and least interesting thing every time. They had such a good concept with WandaVision, too :(
Add to that the Dr Strange forget Peter Parker spell. iT had been working, I guess. Busted.
It was actually going so well until they went for the unexpected... I actually didn't mind that Quicksilver isn't really isn't quicksilver but having a boner joke out of seems like an insult. The hype for the aeronautic engineer is actually really really disappointing though

The WandaVision pitch meeting is painfully accurate. There had to have been a poster in the writers room about making the audience regret theorizing. The rage from “please stand by” was palpable

Love how executive guy goes through more of an arc in some of these pitch meetings than most of the MCU characters go through this entire phase.

Yes, I literally liked each episode less than the one before.
Crazy how different and creative WandaVision was at the start and then it just went from full to empty on that scale at the drop of a hat.
Agreed, I was into it until the last two episodes. Even the penultimate was mostly good despite the Agnes addition. The finale was horrible though. And it made Multiverse it Madness even worse. So disappointing.
Although I still think its one of the better parts of phase four.

Laughed so hard during the She-Hulk one that I got a bloody nose. But all things considered, it was barely an inconvenience given the sheer entertainment value.

you shouldn't even start going to the gym without the pros correcting your posture and handling of equipment, so you won't hurt yourself, yet somehow learning super deadly martial arts just by secretly watching others is completely achievable!

Recapping an entire MCU phase in one single video is TIGHT
The funny part about the whole "actors in the show referencing their other works" thing is that the Arrowverse (which, granted, is DC, not Marvel) canonically explained that by explaining during Crisis on Infinite Earths that AU counterparts don't look the same and may even look like entirely different people (explicitly pointing out that the KC Superman was still Clark Kent/Kal-El, but he was the doppelganger of Earth-1's Ray Palmer). And they already had a perfect option to do that with the MCU, as well, since they own Fox, now, and thus can establish the Chris Evans Fantastic Four movie as simply being an AU. And why does that matter? Because if _superheroes_ could have different faces in different universes, why couldn't regular people? Why couldn't celebrities? See, my theory posits that Elizabeth Olson exists in the MCU, but she doesn't look exactly like the Elizabeth Olson of our universe, who is identical to their Wanda Maximoff.
I take back everythiung I said about Phase 4. Thank you MCU for giving Ryan some truly absurd material for him to make the best Pitch Meetings.

The overriding theme of phase 4 seems to be evil deeds are without consequences as long as you kinda do something right at the end or kinda have a moment of retrospection somewhere along the way

I saw The Avengers, and the second one, and, oHH damn, a bunch actually, but I've totally stopped and I don't know what Phase 4 all entails. I've lost my thread here, but yeah, what you wrote.
I've only really watched one of them. Spiderman, no way home. Only one of the movies that was any good. Kinda saw the eternals/shang chi because an artist was playing them while drawing in a stream.

I've been a fan of Karen Gilian since her first episode of Doctor Who. And her performance as Nebula astonished me since her first appearance. By Guardians of the Galaxy 3 she was by far my favourite.

Wooow, Ryan just hilariously showed us how a lot of us are desensitized to the MCU by accepting somewhat mediocre, and in a lot of parts, LAZY writing instead of realizing what it really is the first time watching, which is “wolf in sheep clothing” style writing just for the quick financial gain, all because it seems Disney feels after ten years of quality entertainment, they can cough up bullshit now and we will go for it because of the glory of the infinity saga.

These are the only compilation videos that I ever watch. Usually I never can stand to watch things multiple times, but I guess it is a testament to how good Ryan is at making these that I actually enjoy re-watching them. It is impossible to even pick a favorite as they are all so excellent. Keep up the awesome work Ryan.

I dipped out of the MCU after Endgame. After watching this I see I chose wisely.
There’s been noticeable dip in quality. The writing is horrific. There’s a common thread, too, they’re all old Rick & Morty writers.
Shang-chi and Loki were pretty cool
Moon Knight is worth watching. The rest, not so much.
MoonKnight and Every episode except the last one of wandavision are purdy good. skip the rest tho
I haven't watched any of the Disney series (don't have Disney+ and won't be getting it) but Shang Chi and Black Panther 2 are worth watching although the latter is a bit disjointed in places. Feels like it was made to cash in on the first Black Panther movie (because of course it was) and trying to cram in references to the previous movie although there are only a couple of references to other MCU characters, which is something some of the other movies have gone way overboard with.

I think Eternals was pitched by an award-winning screenwriter, so it makes more business sense why Disney wouldn't want to just throw it on Disney+.
