@Belts and Boxes Scammers hit these comments with your stolen logo. I reported a couple of their comments
Sarah walked off with a jacket @Belts and Boxes. That's our Sarah‼️🤣🤣🤣
The evolution of tools in the last 10 years is incredible
I liked the Diablo carbide multipurpose blade attachment, Saw Top bench and the Reekon tape measurer. Very nice.
That was Too much fun! Thanks! Tool Time! Power Tools! Power tools!
Everyone expected Makita to abandon the LXT platform. Good to see that be disproved.
LXT is still a major focus for them.
It doesn't make a lot of sense to keep using 20V 18650 packs for your do-everything-battery-system when you can use 40V 21700 packs. The only big advantage is in tools that routinely use the smallest pack you can find to hang on them (40-50wh), and that advantage is mooted by the sudden existence of durable, higher current delivery stacked lithium cell packs.
I want to see them move forward with the changeover because I want to see the industry move forward.
Makita absolutely will not admit that LXT is going out and start pricing 40V normally and releasing their full line, to equal what their divisions did in EU/AUS/NZ/JP , but it would make a hell of a lot more sense for me to buy into their system if they were. Right now they're being premised as a super-premium product and having most of their line held back, because Makita doesn't want to cannibalize LXT. That will change, eventually - if it takes 2 years or 5 years or 10 years. I'm just impatient for it.
@@TrogdorBurnin8or you know size and weight are huge factors. I don't want to be lugging a 40v battery when I'm hanging cabinets. And I use the x2 on skills saws etc and it's heavy and the 40v does reduce weight much
@@TrogdorBurnin8or
40v is simply too large for many applications such as enclosed space work
I'd rather they looked into battery technology itself
They should have created a way forward so that people didn't have to abandon a given platform, the batteries should have been made interchangeable where possible
They need to get stacked lithium batteries for their LXT platform, like Flex and DeWalt.
The Toughbuilt table is on sale at Lowe's at $69 from $99. Black Friday Sale...NOW
Thanks, I’m interested in one!!
By far this was the best , most informative tool review I have watched in a long time. There a re a few products I will be looking into for purchase in the coming months. Excellent show!
Skate plate Ordered! I mentioned Belts & Boxes as the referring party.
The skate plate was deliver yesterday, but it comes with the original 4 roller guild. for an additional $24.95 you can buy the 10 roller improvement.
I comment on the fact I bout the product based on the 10 roller improvement. They provided 15% off to buy the 10 roller guild. free shipping too.
zzzzzzzzzzzz
Max USA have the best tie guns in the market. We have both old and new model tie guns and both guns have been a dream to work with. Changed the pace at which we completed our jobs. We build artificial rock structures we work those guns hard, they don’t disappoint
Thank you for many new Tools show!👍
I’ve had my occidental bags since 94 and still in awesome shape. Everyday use in framing and formsetting
you know those Max USA guys have made an incredible product when someone like me who has absolutely no use for a rebar tier still wants one of those things.
Me three 😲
Same😂 I’d be tying everything
Yup just like when I was a kid and tied everything up. Then I discovered my granddad's Hoard of multi colored electrical tape.....
hahaha
I'd tie up some twigs before sticking them in the green waste bin.
Never heard of MaxUSA? They make amazing tools, the first high pressure nailer I ever used. Great compressors too. Very quiet, and can high pressure nailer.
Excellent show! well done!
Thank you Rob and Sarah! Manage to score some Milwaukee packout deals using your discount code! Love your channel and thanks a bunch!
That’s so cool Izak! The PLATINUM TOOL DEAL will only get better moving forward! Glad you saved a few bucks on the tools you want! Thanks for watching!
She got the cleaning wipes too‼️🤣🤣
Lol yup!
Now that I’m 70 retired/disabled all this cool stuff is coming out. I remember in the early 80’s when metal brackets/joist hangers first came out. Used them on my house. Now standard for Cal. Earthquake safety.
I use allot of Toughbuilt stuff for storage, belts and clip ons. I really wish more stores would carry their stuff. In the upper midwest it seems only Menard's now carries only about half of Toughbuilt's line. I definately snapping up that collapsable table for the jobsite!
Lowe's has it
Be sure to check out the dewalt version as it looks slimmer.....Im torn on which to buy.
These companies must love y'all. You make them all look so good! And fun.
Yes. Yes they do.
Great video guys. I've had an Occi-lite from before they put foam in the bags( back in the 80's). still working everyday. I'm 63 but considering a new Finisher. I'll pass them both on, my 38 year son still works partime with me.
Great episode, and great tools!
Omg that digital tape measure looks amazing I got to have one of those bad boys.
The toughbuilt bag is the real deal. I beat the crap out of mine and it's still going strong a year and a half later.
@@tailgatecarpenter26 did you switch arms each day or just develop one really strong arm from carrying your tools in a bucket? Cavemen made fire by rubbing two sticks together, these days we just carry a lighter.
Wow that Reekon tape measure is the coolest thing I have seen in quite some time! Can't wait to get one.
The photo in the thumbnail almost looked like a RPG launcher for home defense!!!
Occidental Leather - love the craftsmanship of US made products!!
Great innovations across the board !
wow thanks for sharing this latest tools it helps a lot for a speedy work great
Rob and Sarah - Great Video - You two make the STAFDA Show new tools and accessories review fun and with great insight.
CHEERS “Power Tool Week in Review” 🍻
Super kind of ya Danny! Appreciate you watching!

That Diablo sawzall metal blade test seems kinda sketchy. I've got the same Milwaukee blade that's bent and missing 3 teeth that works better then that
The Milwaukee CARBIDE Nitrus blade he shows after the demonstration with the Diablo is a completely different blade to the Torch blade in the test! That was not an apples to apples test! I honestly can’t believe they’d do that.
I honestly was thinking he was holding up on the saw for a little longer than the diablo saw imo
check out project farm. the man goes above and beyound in his testing.
@@robertkwiatkoski1292 exactly. Independent testing ftw
@@optionstrader9637 he starts a second or 1/2 second later
Rawlplug - pioneer of safe and reliable modern fixings, back to the USA! what great news!
The first booth you show "Crescent Tools", show a hex bolt socket. I have a socket set of Metrinch by White International which look like and do the same thing. They accept both imperial and metric on the same socket and undo completely rounded hex bolts. I've been using this set for 30 years. Talk about reinventing (and patenting) the wheel.
very excited to see the new drill from makita , wonder if its gonna be similar to the 40v one
That rebar tier 👌 blew my mind OMG your going to put a lot rod busters out of a job possibly or make lots of new friends. That tool is phenomenal.
The Rod Busters feedback over the last 30 years has make those MAX Rebar tools what they are today. Payback for the Rod Busters is with the most numerous and tedious of ties, the snap tie, they won't impact their wrists and back like they have over the last 100 years. Rob Busters will still be the ones who pulling the trigger. This is simply an enhancement on snap tie production, safety and ergonomics.
That tape measure is top notch cool.
Hey love the content guys great work 👍
ACE!
Thanks
Bob

Some great stuff!
Minute 8:08. I don't work in construction industry but WOW! I bet it makes the work way EASIER whenever they are tightening the metal supports with that tool.
That Skateplate looks interesting
⬆️⬆️SCAM⬆️⬆️
Honest question, does anyone actually go through knife blades so quick to warrant the need for a magazine for multiple changes? Or is it just to appeal to the gun fans?
That opening photobomb 🤣🤣🤣
Love the Reekon tape measure
Heeeeeeeha! Here we go! Holy chargers! Rob and Sarah love to live you on CZcams
I've been waiting a couple of years for that T1- Tomahawk to come out, can't wait.
All the guys here is look like they all we seemed in the tv commercials. promoting their product clearly with confidence and nice to other products alike. I love all the tools they presented, even i have few here in my work place.. Im still wishing for all of it here.
21:16 this is a must have one :)
That Tape measure seems like a time saver.
How many catylitic conveyors can that diablo blade harvest before it needs replacing.
Cool channel! Greetings to everyone from Ukraine!
Thanks for watching Irop! Hope you and your family are ok. Not sure what exactly to say to someone in a war zone. Can’t imagine what you guys are living through. Hang on to each other. Love your neighbors. Hang in there!
Had to immediately go get toughbuilt
You guys are awesome
I dream of having power tools in my life, but it is only a lifelong dream. I am also a carpenter and steel fabricator because of addiction I lost everything I had. but now I found Jesus and I have been clean for more than 3 years now and affording power tools is beyond reach, without proper tools its hard to do anything these days. You people are so lucky to be able to have tools like this, cherish your moments. Lots of Love from a remote part of India... God Bless.
Hang in there Hriattea! Grats on staying clean!
@@ToolShow Thank You
@@ToolShow I am from a small town of Northeast part of India, I am looking for a secondhand powertools which I can afford to buy, if you have any suggestion I will be very grateful..
The tape measuring is the best ever idea
That skatepark guide is awesome. Yep the old flat guides just did not work
26:05 😊👌
The end of the Makita blower looks like something out of Duke Nukem 😂
Indeed. That's a blaster cannon if I've ever seen one.
I wish i would have had some of these tools before i hurt my lower back bad. I worked in construction for 34 years and I've been on disability for 3 years now. I lost most of my tools the 3 years i had to go without any income, i had to sell about everything i had I'm hoping to get some tools back as i get on my feet. I might not be able to do much but i can teach others how to do things
So many great companies making great tools and...What's the word I am looking for...Stuff? Skateplate, occidental, Volted, The saw stop is awesome and ben around for Years great upgrades, But, being a homeowner, The table can be Bigger. Reekon is a bit too much for me, but really cool for carpenters. Tough Built table, YES! Good Stuff and Thanks for sharing. 👍👍🍺
Glad you enjoyed it! If you like Tough Built’s table, you’ll love their bags and belts. You should check them out.
Amazing
I continue to like toughbult for their innovation and quality. I'm impressed by Makita's camping gear. And 5hat rebar tie gun would work great for commercial electrical work! Great video
That Saw stop is not only amazing in that it wont cut your fingers off, its so well designed.
If you throw the safety feature away, it's still the best saw, period.
zzzzzzzzzzzz
Bro the REEKON measuring tape is the coolest shit I’ve ever seen definitely coppig
Best power tool are parendev motor + alternator/generator package. That will become vital in future specialy for field workers.
Where can you buy that 90 degree thing for the saw rails?
I’m impressed with the rebar tie machine even though I’ll never need one. The Saw Stop is nice for basic stuff for carpenters but not for woodworking, you can’t use a dado stack on it, the reekon tape measure is something I want
Great video y’all
Waiting on my Tomahawk, sounds like another delay though. Lived without it all my life so guess I'll make it a few more weeks. Couple other interesting things though to check into I see.
Why not use metric system and you do not have to add fractions ?
A few years ago I saw a kid on youtube stick this new blade called diablo into an average everyday chopsaw, and cut mild steel like butter, then immediately grab the fricken blade with bare fingers, and never got burnt. It wasnt faked, he is low fi, CZcams showing us this stuff he was excited about finding, himself. After that? Take My Money Diablo! I dont even know there are other blades on the wall now.
🇨🇦👊🏻👨🏻🏭✨💖
Nice..would be even better if you had links to items you show.
I love tube o towels
Did anyone catch Diablo saying they were comparing the wrecker Nitrus Carbide Milwaukee blade, but if you look at the blade in the saw it was a Torch Milwaukee blade ? hmm...
Good seeing Makita adding some much needed tools to the lineup. Will go great with their framing nailer ... oh wait.
Someone needs to tell them no one cares about a cooler. We want a framing gun
@@SCUB4xSTEVE the black market for human organs does.
I’m sure their coil siding nailer will be great. Unfortunately, the red batteries won’t fit.
I'm actually interested on their cooler/refrigerator. Great option for camping/overlanding, and I already carry some Makita tools and batteries+charger so this keeps me from having to buy a random brand or switch to a new platform or new battery system.
@@SCUB4xSTEVE It's very frustrating, they keep coming out with stuff we don't need and ignore what we do need.
They delayed the grease gun so long, I ended up buying Dewalt, I'm about to branch off into Metabo for nailers as well.
I bought me occidental leather tool belt 100% pure handcrafted leather I love it. I no longer use canvas bags because they too flimsy
Yay!!! Makita finally had a cut off tool coming.
That wire tie tool is bad ass
It really was impressive in person. It used so little wire compared to the others we’ve used.
Good tools
I recently went through 3 Diablo blades cutting thru an Exhaust system. Not Impressed at all!
We’re you using the right blade? That’s almost always the issue when a big-brand pro blade doesn’t do the job.
A battery-powered compact Saw Stop would be a great option. I would buy it immediately👌

This is my COMIC-CON
Nice comparison of a carbide sawzall blade to a light duty metal blade,. Then showing a carbide Milwaukee blade at the end.

8:33 super newbie here trying to learn.
Is this binding an alternative to welding? It doesn’t seem like it would be as strong. What job would this be good for?
Or is this a temporary binding for the welding to come next?
Wasn’t sure how to google these questions. Any info is greatly appreciated.
Wires have always been used to hold the rebar in place before the concrete is poured. It also keeps the rebar from moving as the concrete is poured in place. This tool is an alternative to twisting the wires by hand.
@@ToolShowohhhhhhhhhhh k. Thank you so much for the answer! This channel is so rad! As a newbie y’all are teachin me so much!

6:02 you can eat it, and so can any critters.
Lots of 'really excited' people there...
Some interesting tools and some weird stuff too. Like Skateplate… quick, let’s all throw away that high precision Festool track saw 😂
That measuring tape is sick
You keep getting photobombed at the shows, lol! It would be cool to see a Stafda shelf giveaway.
That tape measure looks good but many people don't realise that tape measures can be done internally without bending the tape to fit
On tape measures, written on the case is the size of the tape measure, so when measuring an internal measurement, you just pull out the tape and measure and then simply add the length of the tape measure case which is written on the side of the tape measure case
⬆️⬆️SCAM⬆️⬆️
what happens once there's play in the rivets at the end or when the tape gets some damage?
Впервые увидел компактную сабельную пилу Makita , что порадовало. Буду ждать поставок в нашу страну. Спасибо за обзор. Вы великолепны.
Thanks Lev!
Diablo and Makita were the only ones that really impressed me a little.
How can someone attend to this convention .. started working as an electrician and feel I love with collections tool I would
Love to attended one of these
Thank you so much for your tip, it saved my day today 👌🏼👌🏼

I'll take one of everything and 2 of some!
That reckon tape measure looks damn schweeet - gotta have it (when is “March”? before Christmas, right?) uuugghh
9:22 when showing wire amount for the old gun the wire is stretched out in a single strand. And then the wire for the new gun it’s a doubled strand. It looks like it’s definitely less. But not that much less.
⬆️⬆️SCAM⬆️⬆️
The single strand was like 30in. The new one was a heavier gauge, but only around 6” total. Was a huge difference. And the knot was significantly smaller and less likely to peek through the concrete.
Makita one love. Made what I need
I might buys these new power tools when they go on clearance or on a glitch. Long live the hack at Home Depot!
That reekon digital tape measure looks nice but, still think is an overshot. Do want to get the makita air compressor
