For 1967: In the Heat of the Night was a solid movie, with a powerful racial theme, but Bonnie and Clyde was the best film that year, IMO. Also, Doctor Doolittle had no business whatsoever being one of the five BP nominees that year. Should have been Cool Hand Luke in there, instead.
Silver lining, Mark Harris's 'Pictures at a Revolution', which covered the making of the five BP nominees that year, was able to paint a much clearer portrait of 60s cinema because of 'Doctor Dolittle' being nominated. In fact, I'm not even sure the book works without it.
I know it's not your fault, but going from Chicago, a decent stage musical, to Return of the King, one of the grandest epics ever, is kind of surreal in just a smash cut

You have a lot of time on yer hands
@@benjisanderoproductions you don't agree with a list?
@@rodrigomelo4700 I do, just saying you have loads of free time
I'd like to see all those films and compare them. Thanks 😊 And Shawshank Better Than Forest Gump.
Thank you for the list. I agree with many but Annie Hall, Rebecca and Braveheart deserved best picture.
Couldn’t agree more
I strongly agree
Silver lining, Mark Harris's 'Pictures at a Revolution', which covered the making of the five BP nominees that year, was able to paint a much clearer portrait of 60s cinema because of 'Doctor Dolittle' being nominated. In fact, I'm not even sure the book works without it.
WOW !!!
Who's here for student council
Time for another one!
Unfortunately I won’t do that this year, but I do have something else planned
The 50’s were the best…
awe
I know it's not your fault, but going from Chicago, a decent stage musical, to Return of the King, one of the grandest epics ever, is kind of surreal in just a smash cut
2020/2021 Update: Nomadland. I personally wanted Judas or Minari to win
I’m happy for Nomadland, Unfortunately I won’t be doing another one this year but I do have something else coming very soon
What song was used at the beginning of this video?
Static by Jeff Kaale

I forgot how much dross won best movie I counyed 15 that didnt deserve it
0:58 This scene is not from the movie.
A few people have said that, but thanks for pointing it out
Parasite sucked! There,I said it!
You’re completely wrong. It’s a masterpiece.
@@HugoSoup57 Tow-may-toe......... Toe-Mah-Tow. I wanted to like it,but it just didn’t hit on anything for me.
Even though Parasite deserved Best Picture, my favorite movie that year was 1917.
Ngl I was only disappointed in parasite bc I went in thinking it was a zombie movie lol
Overrated movies on this list:
The Broadway melody
The greatest show on earth
Out of Africa
Chicago
Moonlight
Parasite
I’ll agree on Chicago
I disagree. I loved the class division in Parasite.
You’re wrong about Moonlight and Parasite. Both excellent movies.
Parashite,. What an overrated "movie"
Incorrect, it’s one of the greatest movies ever made.
