Net spend is not always a true reflection especially in arsenals case as we only spend when forced to and its always to replace players rather than to add to existing players, if you look at all the players weve let go for free or for next to nothing , any of these players play for most other clubs we'd get 280m but were always more concerned about getting players off the wage bill rather than getting a transfer fee for them, net spend in our case is more about how poorly the club is run rather than us spending lots of money. Look at whos left us last few years, Sanchez (free, worth 60m at the time) , Ospina (world cup goalie, under 30 years old went for 3m), Mkhitaryan(free) ,Ramsey(free, 60m player) , Welbeck (free, injury prone but if watford sell him theyll get at least 10m-15m), Wilshere(free), perez(sold for 3m, now valued at 10m) , walcott(20m, however english striker with over 100 goals & assist easily 30m-40m), joel campbell 1m , was playing champions league football and 1 was of the star players at the time) , Akpom(1m , 1 of our brightest young talents at the time, what other club would sell a young English striker for 1m), Gnabry(we cant predict the future but a player we sold for 4m now worth 60m-70m 2 years later), szczesny (12m , now 1 of the best goalies in the world) , Adelaide(1.5m got sold for 22m 1 year later) we need to start getting proper tranfer fees for our players, tranfer fees are massively inflated so whether we think a player is shit or not in the football world he can still be worth 20m,30m,40m etc.
we have elneny coming back,it's interesting to see what happens with him but for me he's another deadwood back for the new season... I honestly don't know what is the real story behind Guendouzi but it would be great for him to jus apologize an move on,probably get him back in the squad for the season cuz I think he's a potential baller for the future...
How Nketiah can still be involved in the Arsenal first team baffles me..

Danny Danny tbh arsenal will be extremely stupid if they done attempt getting partey. Since partey haven’t signed a new contract yet, his release cause(€50mil) is actually bare cheap for his quality. But if we don’t trigger it, and athletico extend his contract, his price tag will go up to like £60-£70mil+

Ceballos improved as soon as he played as a deep-lying midfielder. His best performance before Arteta’s arrival was against Newcastle when he played in a double-pivot. After that, he was played as a #10, and he’s simply not a #10 .. he’s a deep-lying playmaker .. and once he was played there consistently, we saw him improve dramatically

Its not just the amount spent, but im wondering about the quality and timing. If we are spending alot on mediocre players that are not taking you to the level its not good enough thats on the owner. we got Willian and Gabriel if we sign Partey, Aouar and Zaha do you think we get top 4. so far 30mil spent these 3 man will cost 150 million.so we spent 180 altogether. offload Laca 30mil Guendouzi 30mil 20mil Chambers. 10mil for Elneny and Sokratis. 15mil for mustafi. that's only 75mil net spend also can sell amn or bellerin 25mil either one. so 50mil spent and I believe that's our budget.
