There's nobody like BOB !
One thing about Seger...he sure knew how to rock and we loved him for that. Can't remember if you covered 'Still the Same' but that's always been another favorite. Keep em coming!!!
It was in an episode of an early to mid 80 's TV show Hardcastle and McCormack
@ric2097 remember the show. Do not remember a tie to the song.
@@carolmartin4413 yeah was a teen at the time...an old friend/ex shows up...been so long can't remember all the details , sorry..best wishes
Agreed. I suggested Still the Same another time based on Jay’s love of piano. Those lower register chords will rattle a person in the most enjoysble way! Betty Lou here is a fun one too! I remember loving it when it came out. I only got to see Bob & SBB once (‘75) and it was long before Betty Lou or Still the Same.
Definitely Still the Same and I'm hoping they react to Roll Me Away... One of my all time favorites and it reminds me of my dad.
Another rocking one for sure is Get Out of Denver, they'll both be chair dancing to that one!
Rock and Roll Never Forgets by Bob Seger, that's the one you need to hear!
Jay &Amber, you'll love his "Night Moves", "Hollywood Nights", "Rock And Roll Never Forgets" !!!
-#cheers-- !-
I second all of those!
When I think of Seger, I think of Night Moves. 😍❤
How is it possible that they haven’t done Night Moves yet 😮
Hollywood Nights just plain rocks!
Another great song from a fantastic artist!
Oh yea, Bob Seger is my favorite singer every song is fantastic ! I’ve personally never heard one song I didn’t like 💞
Ditto.
Isn't he the most fun ever!!! Love him!
This is my favorite album from Bob Segar "Against the Wind" an absolute classic!
That’s a great album. Seger charted 5 of 10 songs from the album. “Betty Lou” was the “B” side to “You’ll Accompany Me” so did not chart.
@@straycatttt2766 That is actually my favorite song on that album!
Can’t go wrong with this man!!❤❤
-definitely !-
Bob Seger's Silver Bullet Band had one of the BEST sax players in rock and roll - Alto Reed. Truly a master at the saxophone who sadly passed away a couple years ago.
...which is why he (Bob) decided to no longer tour. 😟
George Thorogoods original sax player Hank "Hurricane" Carter also passed ...sad
Alto was amazing, him and Clarence Clemmons from Springsteen are my 2 favorite
Bob Seger "Come to Poppa" and "Her Strut" - you both will love
Yes, Come to Papa
This is what Rock and Roll is all about!
Yes!!! Hollywood Nights is a must! Can’t believe you guys haven’t hit that one yet!
Certified banger!!
Hollywood night is so true, and many a young naive lad has been there! His BEST!
Bet they'd like Horizontal Bop.
Hollywood nights is the song that got me into Bob Seeger. One of our greatest venues is the Hammersmith Apollo ( was the odeon ) and the manager in the 70’s/80’s, said the greatest band he’d ever seen at the venue was easily the silver bullet band!
I've never heard a bad Seger song...He's incredible!!!
My sister-in-law who’s now passed lived in Columbus, Ohio back in the day. Her then husband worked the venues where concerts were held. They went backstage and she had never heard of the band. She had beautiful long red hair to her waist. A guy asked if he could braid her hair. She looked at hubby and he immediately shook his head yes!!! So he braided her hair beautifully. The concert was going to start so she said thanks and by to him. Took her seat out front, and the man who had braided her hair was none other than Bob Segar himself!!!!
"trying to live my life without you" and "old time rock n roll" are two other great songs by Bob seger.
One of the best bangers ever! Can’t go wrong with Bob Seger
Great reaction👍👍 I suggest you get a copy of Live Bullet and listen to the entire show. Seger and his band had something you can’t pick up on in single studio recordings. Don’t get me wrong, they are awesome, each one. But in the live performance you get to hear the band take the crowd on the rollercoaster from hard driving rock to slower ballads. The last couple of songs on the Live Bullet album are epic, the crowd is going absolutely insane.
Absolutely!
@@scottromer8584I second that motion.
"Nine Tonight" is worth a listen too. Great live album, but then, it's Bob and the boys so...
@@O_Towne_Bear I like the Live Bullet idea. Amber and Jay would get a kick outta knowing Bob and the guys covered an Ike and Tina Turner song and really did 'em proud.
I agree. And I was sitting in Tier A at Cobo for one of those concerts. Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band were special live.
So happy you reacted to this song! Can't help but move and dance to this. Pick a live song from NINE TONIGHT or LIVE BULLET! Bob Seger was great live
Please do Bob's hit "Feel just like a number". It's so relatable! 🤘😎
You’ll Accompany Me. Is a beautiful song by Bob.
Great song, off the "Against the Wind" album, which also featured "Fire Lake" and of course, the title track. Try "You'll Accomp'ny Me" and "The Horizontal Bop", which were also off that record, one of his best.
Another great Seger song is "Roll me Away". It's the kind of song you play in the car on a summer day with the windows rolled down. It takes you to a magical carefree place.
“Night Moves” is still out there waiting for you guys……possibly his best
Yes, excellent album from 1976 recorded in Muscle Shoals. My go-to on that LP is “Main Street”. Bob sings it in such a personal way because he lived it. It has such a haunting quality, I’ve heard it hundreds of times but appreciate it more every time and that’s the mark of an excellent songwriter.
If you like your Bob Seger songs fast, it doesn't get much better than "Get Out of Denver"
The live version
After several Bob Seger reactions, you could still feature him every day for the next month and you will love every song.
You asked the perfect question...WHO DOESN'T LOVE BOB SEGER!!??
"Night Moves" is a Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band song I first heard in the 1981 animated film American Pop. It's rated R and intended for adults. It's not dirty or anything, just not for kids. Try it on your movie reaction channel after you finish the Harry Potter series.
Another great reaction. You should definitely do “Roll Me Away” next.
Roll me away is such a great song but better yet, the lyrics are epic.
Seger is one of a kind.
Another great Bob Seger song is "Roll me Away" 😎🎵🎶🎼
This is all that…and, still gotta do his greatest (IMO) Night Moves! Y’all will love it😮❤ ps official video version please, which will blow your socks off 🙏
Saw Bob & the Silver Bullitt Band decades ago, and it's still one of the best concerts I've ever seen ✌️🙂
You gotta get Jonny Lang in your list of soon to do’s. Lie to Me is the first song to react to. You won’t regret it.
great song and video and he was a just a teenager when recorded. Great talent.
He was very good live!
Alto Reed is the perfect compliment to whatever Bob is doing. He is the perfect member of Silver Bullet.
Even in his faster numbers I think he may be the best rock storyteller of all time.
He played this @ the concert i was at,and people were standing and dancing!!!!!
Saw Bob 5 times live, an absolute favorite of mine since the late 70’s. So glad to see how his music is appreciated by a new generation. Bob is still loved by us old fans. He had a long break from touring then I was fortunate enough to see him again in 2011, and even though he had no new hits he sold out the day tickets went on sale. Try “Rock and Roll Never Forgets” because Bob proved that statement is accurate by his sold out shows despite his pushing 70.
When I saw your reaction to Kathmandu, I knew you would love THIS one!!! Please react to his “Her Strut.” That’s fire too! 🔥
Impossible not to move to this song
“NIGHT MOVES “ by BOB SEGER is great!!
You’ll love the “guitar “ in it !! And of course his Rockin voice!!!
“Horizontal Bop” needs to be your next Seger song
Well that's a great way to start the day!! Thanks! Love Bob Seger!!
Bob Seger is my favorite musician or my 60 years on planer Earth. You must do Night Moves, which is probably his biggest hit. Love you two!
If you guys weren't moving during this song, someone might have been compelled to check your pulses.😂
HI guys! Glad you dig Bob Seger, we went to the same High School in Ann Arbor Michigan. Give a listen to "Get out of Denver" from the Live Bullet album. Be sure to hang on to your seat!!!
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU.
I have requested this song everytime you play Bob. Released in 1980 on the Against The Wind album. It took 6 weeks for this album to make it to the top of the charts, knocking Pink Floyd's The Wall out of Number 1.
This song rocks your socks off. 🎶🎶
Bob's amazing raw vocals, the amazing sax, 🎷🎷, fantastic piano and every part of the instrumentation make this such a masterpiece. THANK YOU AGAIN. Great reaction. Buckets of Maple Syrup love from Canada ❤️❤️ 🇨🇦 🇨🇦
Me to, so much so I felt like a pain in the ass.
"Hollywood Nights" drives like a train. Fist pumping, pedal to the metal rockin' tune.
This is a kickin song. 🙃
One of his best high-energy rockers Seger's ever written. Gotta love the keys and wicked horn section! Vintage Rock & Roll. Gotta react to "Makin' Thunderbirds" and "Shame On The Moon" of Seger classics.
PURE Rock and Roll Bob is Out
Dylan, Mellencamp, and Seger -- the holy trinity of midwest songwriters. Can't go wrong. Another uptempo tune from Seger is 'Feel Like a Number' and he does a great remake of an old blues tune called 'Trying to Live My Life Without You.'
"Feel Like A Number" is a banger
Try “Get out of Denver” also another rocker buy Bob.
@@charliebrown3020 Get Out Of Denver is my favourite driving song.
You can’t leave out Springsteen 😎
@@unclephil7650 Not from the Midwest.
Awesome deep cut from Bob Seger. He likes to bring that old school rockin sound
ROCK & ROLL NEVER FORGETS.
Great song by Bob and the band. Hat tip to Alto Reed (RIP) for some great sax. Did you guys notice how much Jay was moving like Lionis (Charlie Brown fame) when he dances?
Her Strut and Trying to live my life without you are greats as well. So glad you love Bob!!❤❤ Keep going down the rabbit hole!!
bob seger sunspot baby
Come to Papa!! Awesome!!
Now you can see why the generation I was growing up with this kind of stuff, was much happier than today's younger kids.
On the Live Bullet album there is a track-Traveling man/Beautiful Loser...the song, the lyrics, the band. You will not be disappointed.
My favorite is still Shame on the Moon, love song may make you cry or smile.
Love Bob Seger! He's real Rock & Roll!!
Horizontal bop is a great song of his
Love this song!!!!!
-same here !-
Bob Seger is just the ultimate juke joint band! He could set up in a 500 seat bar or 35000 seat arena and the sound and feel is the same. Weather they dancing on a small dance floor or as in the aisles of an arena, people just have fun!!!
Saw him in concert in ‘86. He played for 3 1/2 hrs , incredible
When my grandson was a toddler, he loved this song. It is get happy music.
His music is as great as he is.
Rock on
Strong endorsements for three more Seger rockers: "Feel Like a Number" "Get Out of Denver" "Rock and Roll Never Forgets"
This is a rocker. "The fire inside" is a must listen
Love Bob Seger! This song starts out as chair dancing music, then you just have to get up and move.
I love chair dancing with ya'll! Thanks for keeping great music alive!
Just when you think you know Seger he throws you a curve!!!!!!
"Roll me away" always hits me in the feels.
Every track on the two albums, "Night Moves", and "Against the Wind", got major airplay on am/fm radio. It was a different world back then.
Uptempo Seger; Horizontal Bop and Making Thunderbirds! Also Come to Papa.
Night Moves is a can’t miss!
The music takes care of itself but it's great fun to watch people enjoying a song as much as I do! It's great to watch people grooving to the music.....it's universal!!
"You'll Accomp'ny Me", "Her Strut", "Beautiful Loser", "Shame On The Moon" and "Come to Poppa", pick your poison. They're all great!
Bob is one of the greatest
Bob is the king! This is one of my faves!
Other songs I love by Bob are "Still the Same", "Beautiful Loser" and "Her Strut"!
That rock-a-billy sound just wants you to get up and boogie, and I don't dance. LOL Bob and the boys know how to rock and how to do depth and everything in between. His Greatest Hits is a must for anyone's music appreciation library.
He's got the total '50s going on. This is right there with the originals Jerry Lee Lewis, Bill Haley & The Comets, Buddy Holly & the Crickets, Chuck Berry, Little Richard, etc.
Now you need Fire Down Below and Hollywood Nights! He is such a showman, he doesn't bring the party, he IS THE PARTY!
Old Time Rock & Roll fits in here too, but as a person who bartended back in the day, you get sick of the song pretty quick on the jukebox. I used to like the song Maggie May until I was old enough to drink and drunk people keep dropping quarters and yelling"it's your song!"
I'm so glad you keep picking things from my record collection!
Love you guys! {{{hugs}}}
I was at a BS concert and when he played this song the crowd went CRAZY.... I was young and didn't really get it and... bought the album. Listened to the words.
Saw Bob 3more times. Always Amazing..... still have the ticket stub...
Another rocker by Bob is Get Out of Denver.
You just can't go wrong with Seger!
YOU GUYS HAVE NEVERRRRRR DONE HIS BIGGEST HIT YET, I DON'T BELIEVE THAT, I'M LOOKING, I DON'T SEE IT JAY AND AMBER! 😮NIGHT MOVES 😊IT TOOK HIM 6 MONTHS TO WRITE THAT SONG AND WHATTAAAA MASTER GEM THAT TURNED OUT TO BE, 💯STILL TO THIS DAY STANDS THE TEST OF TIME! 👍
Did you ever react to his earliest hit, "Ramblin' Gamblin' Man"? Early stuff but one can picture the future energy and talent. My Aunt Bette Lou likes this one, though she's a bit up there now! Amber!! Oh that saxophone!Fine tune. Thanks! Rock and Roll!
I remember when I got this album when this song was a hit. I had to get the tape of it to carry around in the car with me and play Betty Lou over and over! It's one of those songs you just can't escape from you'll be singing it all the time ❤️🙏😘
My favorite is “Like a rock”! Man can write a song that just transports me into memories over and over. Main Street does it too…
A song nobody ever reacts to is "shinin' brightly". A great Seger song off the same album as this.
This album, AGAINST THE WIND, is like a greatest hits.
This is crazy!
I always thought he was saying “Betty Lou’s getting MARRIED tonight” !
Never realized it was “getting out”
So Did I...
Listening from London ❤️
Go Bob. Great voice with a great band. Great rock n roll
It just makes me smile from ear to ear when I see you guys reacting to Bob Seger! Please keep it going. Love from Michigan
"Night Moves" one of the best songs ever recorded!
If that song doesn't get you bouncing around the room, you need to call the paramedics! 😄
Amber just making that chair rock hard, love it, lol. It would be great to see you guys suddenly get up and just start dancing around the room because it definitely has that energy. And this was the music of my high school years and yeah people definitely partied to this 💯.
