Izzy had not only a massive reach advantage allowing him to tag Costa every time he moved forward but he also had the speed & footwork advantage so he had the choice to counter strike Costa as he was coming in or just simply circle out with his footwork since Coata couldn’t reach him without lunging. It isn’t as simple as just chasing somebody around swinging.
I feel like Izzy doesn't come across all that great in some interviews, but here he seemed to be absolutely himself, and really came across as a fantastic dude in all aspects. Glad I can cheer for him in his future fights knowing he deserves the support.
