I felt that when Sean was talking about his dad. I was in law enforcement for 9 years in the Atlanta area and left as a detective. It was the most stressed I have ever been in my entire life. It really changes you. Unfortunately parents being involved with sexual assaults of their children is so much more common then people know.
One of the worst cases I assisted with was a POS mom who was selling her 9 year old daughters body to random guys in hotels so she could support her drug habit.
Luckily I left Law Enforcement in October and hung up the boots. Probably one of the hardest things to do was leave, but I’m so fortunate I got out before they crazy riots.
Thanks for the awesome content man. This podcast gets me through a lot of bad days.
Damn man. Yea there are some genuinely evil things going on multiple times, and in multiple places every day. I always imagined having to restrain yourself from physically harming some of those people like pedophiles, abusers, etc. would be the hardest part. I just watched the Epstein interviews he did with the police, and I was so angry just watching it I couldn't imagine having to sit right in front of him without losing my mind.
It sucks so badly to know how you were a pro and did everything you could to make people safer and help society; and now every time you turn around there are some dumbass freaks talking our of their ass about how bad cops are.
