kobe vs any prolific scorer was my favorite, watching him dual t-mac, arenas, ray allen, VC, MJ, Wade, Lebron, Melo list goes on idk if i have a favorite i do know he takes rudy gay to school on a seasonal basis lmao...but to say a fave idk. Id say ray allen they sure liked challenging each other to see how many 3s they could make in a game/quarter lmao.

kobe fans never want to admit the truth. everyone acts like kobe won all his champs on his own. that's not true at all, except for 2002 he won that champ fair and square...cough
this is what really went down. this is the story the mass media don't want you to know because they got to sell the product.
kobe never won a champ without a allstar center, Phil Jackson, AND Jerry West pulling all the levers behind the curtains Wizard of Oz style. take any of these out of the equation and he doesn't even get out of the first round, don't believe me do your homework
with the lakers dealing with post Kareem and Magic show times lakers dynasty
Jerry "The Logo" West was able to talk Shaquille O'neal into leaving The Orlando Magic and trade for Kobe Bryant to be his wingman and left the lakers Mitch kupcake in good hands. Kobe who was going to be no one's wing man runs off shaq (squeakiest wheel gets the oil) and sounded like your typical bitch after a bad breakup
      Kobe-"I'm independent"
next three years he doesn't even get out of the first Rd. We get to see what kobe really was, a high volume scorer hell bent on catching Michael Jordan. Then he demands trade to Clippers in response The lakers (with my best straight face on) trade kwame brown, second round 48th draft pick, and 2 throw in to Memphis for a current allstar center in Pau Gasol. and who is the guy in the Memphis management that helped this lopped sided trade go through?
none other than Jerry "The Logo" West himself. the same guy who created the Shaq kobe duo. he had to fix the lakers fuck up by sending another allstar center to kobe rescue. luckily Memphis second round draft pick rights turned out pretty damn good in Marc Gasol.
"What they did in Memphis is beyond comprehension," said Popovich. "There should be a trade committee that can scratch all trades that make no sense. I just wish I had been on a trade committee that oversees NBA trades. I'd like to elect myself to that committee. I would have voted no to the L.A. trade."- Gregg Popovich
Now Jerry West is with the Golden State Warriors and played a key role in getting Kevin Durant to sellout and leave OKC which I disagree with but is at the same time sweet justice to me because Oklahoma had no business stealing a franchise from Seattle to begin with. suck it okc yall stole a legend franchise and lost two franchise players in James Harden and Kevin Durant. karma
Kobe had help with his champ...lots of help. and anyone who is in denial about the truth and think ignorance is bliss be careful because ignorance can turn into arrogance very easily
kobe wasnt even consider the best sg until Michael Jordan retired and Tracy Mcgrady got hurt
you'll count EVERY YEAR tmac didn't advanced regardless of roster or if he was hurt or wasn't even playing at all so it's only fair to give kobe the same treatment. unless he's God and can walk on water. so that's 5 years (05',06',07',15',16',) that kobe couldn't carry the team solo like Tmac. he didn't even make the playoff 3 out of 5 season. hardcore tmac basher-"tmac didn't get out of the first rd hahahahahah." and neither did kobe...when he did make the playoff.
"well uhhh kobe has more rings"
      news flash
champs/rings is awarded to the best TEAM not the best individual
Kobe Shaq Pau and co. never had career effecting or career ending injuries like Tmac Yao Ming and Grant Hill
      ***2001-2008 playoff stats***
      kobe: 28.4 ppg, 5.7 rpg, 5.3 apg, 43.4 mpg, 45-33-81%, 22.6 FGA, 8.3 FTA, **22.5 PER**, 31.1 usage
      tmac: 29.5 ppg, 6.9 rpg, 6.5 apg, 42.6 mpg, 43-30-75%, 24.5 FGA, 9.1 FTA, **25.4 PER**, 35.3 usage
***tmac and kobe best single season***
      03 T-Mac: 32.1 ppg, 6.5 rpg, 5.5 apg, 39.4 mpg, 46-39-79%, 2.5 stocks, **30.3 PER**, 16.1 WS
      ’06 Kobe: 35.4 ppg, 5.3 rpg, 4.5 apg, 41.0 mpg, 45-35-85%, 2.2 stocks, **28.0 PER**, 15.3 WS
I bet you didnt know that Kobe career regular-playoff stat actually drops and its Tmac and Mj who steps it up and plays better in the playoff

Around this time in his career he joined MJ as the best blocking shooting gaurds now and thats one on one D not blocking shots from behind shit now Dwade pass both of them so his over all game was better especially since kobe played in a system the triangle which his job was to score and defense not grab boards and pass because he had others around to do that MAC had to do much more work and injuries and lack of help kept him from being more than what he gave not work ethic just like penny Hardaway, every nba player say you need luck in nba when it comes to injuries

Just as a reminder to people who are not aware. This is the game where Kobe was depressed and didn't want to be in it. All his thoughts was that he was about to lose everything (his wife/family, might go to jail) because of the trial regarding rape while he was in Colorado. Take notice at how one of Kobe's arms is wrapped up too. This is because he just got a tatoo for his wife. At one point during the half time break, he concluded after all thoughts that, he has no control over what will happen to his life. but he knew he at least had control of one thing, "basketball". So he unleashed The Black Mamba (This is the game where the black mamba was born). 1pt first half of game, finished the game with 38 pts.

Had only a motorcycle at the time, so he had to leave his stuff in the street. Scored 1 point in the first half, and the Lakers were getting beaten. T-Mac recalled him being not "not as aggressive" During halftime, he said to himself:"you may lose everything in life because of the situation you put yourself in, but I'll be damned if I lose basketball because this s I can control." Took over the game in the second half. "After the game, I go back to the house and pick all my s up. I take my motorcycle and go to a motel." His personality splitted in two after that night: Kobe and the Black Mamba.

Look the difference in ball handling ability, footwork, post game, passing (precision and pure skill and ability), etc. T-Mac was definitely a talented scorer but his game was nowhere near as well-developed as Kobe's. Kobe could literally do any and everything on the court at an elite level.

William King Tmacs offensive game is something no one has ever seen before. Like Kobe said he was 6'9 that moved as if he was 6'3 and could do anything score, defend, playmake and rebound. This from Kobes mouth. There were very few players in the 00s era that were able to contain Tmac. Actually I read up on espn that back in 04 no one showed the ability to check Tmac on several nights but KG. It says something when they both call eachother their toughest to face. They were almost identical stat wise before Tmac got injured.

This 2003-2004 Laker team was actually the third SUPER team who had not two, not three but four HOF's. Then there was the 1999-2000 Portland Trailblazers with Pip. Smithie, Schrempt, Rasheed , Sabone and little mighty mouse Damen Stoudimire. Then there is the original SUPER team that also lost and didn't even make it to the finals and that is the 1998-1999 Houston Rockets With Pippen, Barkley, Olajuwon and then the 1995-1996 Houston Rockets with the previous HOF Trio o f Barkley, Olajuwon and Drexler who was the original SUPER team of the NBA. So now then we see that "SUPER" team status doesn't automatically mans the hardware and so it now remains to be seen with the 2016-2017 GSW. We shall see if they can actually seal the deal come mid to late June 2017.

Malone and Payton were HOF type players in their prime but they were way past their prime when they were on the Lakers. Payton was 35 and Malone was 40. Same for the Houston and Portland teams where a lot of the players were past their prime already in their mid 30s. Miami and GSW core players were in their prime when they teamed up.

For all of you guys that are saying that TMac was better, no he wasn't. At this point in their careers i would have considered them equals at the most. Tmac was a little longer, had bigger hands, and could jump higher than Kobe. TMac also had his own team which means he could virtually do what he wanted. Kobe on the other hand played with Shaq, Payton, and Malone, and had to play within a system.

I went from an illusive loose perimeter handle with a deep 3 to a erky jerky handle, crafty PG anything within the mid range. Id say my height made me have to stray away from the deep 3s typa game cause I aint no steph but my shit use to splash with a lil tmac kick follow through guarantee 💯
