I ruined the paint on the VW Caddy trying to fix stone chips

  • I this video I attempted to tidy up some of the stone chips on the front of the VW Caddy but it didn't go to plan. Unfortunately, I would have been in a better situation if I had just left them or done them how I thought they should be done. However, I bought into a product I thought would get the paint work back to original and It was terrible.
    In order to attempt to fix it I resorted to Meguires compound which was the only product I could get at such short notice. It's not perfect but this is a huge improvement on where I was up to with it.

    Tin foil on the connections I had the same problem with my mk3 number plate light tin foil did the trick.

      @@FreeworldOL yeah the connection check bringing up the light on my mk3 caddy even with new lights. It was the connections where the lights fit too. So I put tin foil in there and it gave a better connection. I take my hat off to you for attempting the stone chips I have a few but not brave enough to tackle them thanks for sharing your experience 👍🏻
