  • Becky Sharp, 37, spent months in a coma after she was hit by a hit-and-run driver last year, but has made an incredible recovery and can again walk her children to school. The 37-year-old spent two months in a coma with life-changing head, pelvis and leg injuries but has made incredible progress since then. But, a year after the incident she can walk her daughters to school and has come to tell her story.

    So glad she’s okay!! This happened near where I live and I have a baby the same age so I was so upset by it, kept wondering how they were both doing and if they’d recovered

    Was the driver found guilty?

      Yes, 6 year ban and sentenced to 3 yrs 8 months. He pleaded guilty eventually when they uncovered his lies. He’ll be out in about 2 years

      Because the London marathon just happened and he was running for the brain injury research charity on behalf of his wife

      Last three minutes was about how he raised money by running the marathon for a Brain Injury Charity after his wife’s head injury due to the accident.

      People are so quick to judge, he might be anxious being on television and been told by producers to smile? He might find it painful to talk about and is just trying to smile through it, a smile can hold a million things

      ..it’s been an ordeal for them ..would you rather he cried …an inane comment ..he probably doesn’t even want to be there and maybe nervous .
