However I may have gone too far as my sky looked like either Krakatoa and/or Chernobyl was kicking of just out of shot on the right. Lesson learnt!

Well I started viewing this video several times but watched it through this morning. Very nice! I may try this one next. Not long ago I purchased the four brush set and the sky washes really began to work out. Previously I did not have a brush as wide as the 1.5” wash brush. This really carries the needed amount of water and color. Months ago I looked at several art supply websites and thought that I would need all those brushes and gadgets. Really cool to see only eight colors and four brushes are all that’s needed.
Thank you for teaching me to paint although at a great distance, learning this has been a real pleasure.

When I first started with watercolour painting I made the biggest mistake anyone could make. I spent too long drawing out my picture in pencil and had it absolutely perfect. Then I wet my paper to do my first wash and that is when I noticed my mistake. I had accidentally used a water soluble graphite pencil and I lost most of my lovely picture. However I did learn a very valuable lesson, always check what type of pencil you are using. LOL
