Back in the early 90's I worked at the 2nd D&B ever with this cool dude named Kevin. He was a slight man, and he had a big head of hair. One day I called him Tiny Elvis, and it stuck. From then on he was "The Tiny E", to the point where he had to just embrace it and be The Tiny E. The man is a legend.
My sister and I have a little plastic statues of Elvis… Tiny E. For 30 years, we have been taking pictures and sending them to each other with weird captions…… Even in the days when you had to have pictures developed. With a smart phone it’s easier now…… We make each other laugh so hard!!!

Tiny E would sit in a corner of your desktop, and every now and then he'd appear in the centre of the screen, telling you how big your icons or windows were ("Take a look at that icon over there! Man, that thing is huge!"). You can get it off the Internet Archive but it doesn't work any more. Maybe if you got Windows 3.1 running on DOSBOX. Which actually would be excellent if you could run Windows 3.1 again on the Internet. I'm sure I have an archive of my old Windows setup somewhere...

If you can figure out how to get it to you, email would be good since I don't think CZcams has a personal message feature, and I'm "nope" to all the "social media". You could set up a dummy email if you were going to do it. Maybe DOSBOX or some virtual PC thing could get Windows 95 working. Though it works on Windows 3.1 too, which is easier to install on top of DOS, and doesn't need "activating" or whatever bullshit. I could email it to you, and in return you could do the world the favour of putting it up on the Internet Archive.

Because people used to be creative and funny and even silly ideas, if done right, made everyone laugh. Laugh. They were not worried about offending people, they were not worried about being canceled on Twitter, they were not worried about upsetting the blacks or the Chinese or the whites or women or gays. It was a more pleasant and enjoyable time to live your life. Everything sucks. Now. I haven't even watched SNL in 15 years because it's so awful. It's forgettable and unfunny. Because they have to make sure the women, the gays, and the blacks have something to do. I'm not being mean or rude, the truth is the truth.
I think this sketch needs to be in the right hands to work. For instance, Cage is close friends with Jim Carrey, and I’m positive (based on the Helvis monologue he a few years ago) that Carrey would also nail it. Kurt Russell? Kevin Costner? Who knows?

Also in the second one Rob Schneider plays Elvis not cage. The best I could find was some still images from each part of the sketch on some website… I saw them looking at tiny Elvis in the microscope tho in the pics lol

To varying degrees but the worst yes man of them all was Charlie Hodge. All the loudmouth laughing during the 68 Comeback Special was him and every live concert you could hear Hodge laughing inappropriately. This guy was the biggest sycophant of all of them. He was actually a sad little alcoholic man with nowhere to go if not for Elvis taking care of him.
He plays Tiny E in the other sketch. He was an Elvis impersonator in Japan at one point and I believe that's his voice singing the intro and outro songs. I'm also pretty sure he wrote the Tiny Elvis sketches.
Oh the good old days of snl, back when the skits were just stupid fun. Greatest skits ever. I think they try and push the woke agenda now. The garbage they turn out now is not even remotely funny. I cant stand to even sit thru an entire episode.
Consider: humour is subjective and subject to changes in society. Also things always look better in retrospect. These were the days where people thought Leno was funny. If you think things were funnier in the past it means you can't keep up.

It cracked my friends and I up. I worked at an Office Max at the time and loaded it on all the computers on display. It ran on windows 95 also.

Probably one of my favorite SNL bits that shouldn't be even remotely funny. Nic Cage sounds more like Johnny Bravo than Elvis.
