This lens and my A6700, satisfy 95% of my telephoto needs. Keeps me from investing a long lens for my full frame setup.
do you use it mostly for wildlife photography? I'm planning to get one.
@@BHKalabaw I would say mostly yes . I use it for other things as well it seems to be a nice camera for a long-range shots of flowers also
Great video. Your explanation was clear and concise and your use of photos and videos added to the clarity of your review. Thank you 🙏
Great review thanks! Loved the slide comparing the lenses!
Excellent review! All reviews should be like this.
Fantastic review. You covered all the points I was considering. As a result of your video I placed an order for this lens. Can't waint to get it out in the field and put it through its paces. 🙂
Excellent review. Thank you very much. This is one of a kind quality!
Good review! very useful thanks. 💥👍
Im using this lens with my sony a6000, its very satisfying
A6000 is still a great camera, thanks for the comment and have fun!
Great review! Your channel is well worth subscribing. Thank you 🙏
Thanks and welcome!
Nice review. You sold me on the compactness. My wife doesn't like heavy lenses.
Would love to see a comparison to the Tamron 70-300mm. I have one and love it but feel like this one could be better.
The bag at 01:27 is so beautiful, where can I buy it?
Have had this lens for about 3 weeks now and just need to find more time to put to use. Will be shooting it on an A6700 and A7CR in APS-C mode. Have bigger and longer lenses but none as small and light as this. Thanks for the video.
I just bought the A6700. Is it worth buying this zoom lens for it? How's your experience?
@@vivekbytesSo far so good. Its size, weight, and performance fits well to the A6700. If a longer telephoto zoom is a priority for you I would recommend it for you. Take care.
@@stevenwaldstein2249 Thanks, Steven!
Yes have this lens and love it..can you review fe 200-600mm on apsc
Do you know if it fits the SONY ZV-E10??? thanks for the great review!
I have sony zv e10 with kit lens, im looking for tele lens to pair with my zv, thanks for review, now its my wishlist
I use this lens since 3 years on my a6400 (no stabilization). The stabilization from the lens is phantastic and the picture quality is very good! I have a tripod-mount from Novoflex on the lens - that's a very good balance from the combi!
Could you tell me which novoflex it is ? Thank you !
nice review, thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it!
I wonder if it’s good for panning shots of motorsports
Nice review!
Thank you! Cheers!
Just got this for my a6700 and love it, from my understanding the focus hold button doesn’t work on this camera, anyone have luck with it?
Si que funciona
is the optical quality of tamron 18-300 really that bad compared to this 70-350 ? can you do some comparison shots ? seems like the tamron 18-300 seems like a more versatile option with similar image quality and performance to me. Your thoughts will be highly appreciated?
I don't have that lens anymore but I will add it to the list of lenses to be reviewed. For a lens with such a wide focal range (17x), I think it was very good, and versatility is unmatched in E-mount, but the bokeh wasn't very pleasing tbh and wasn't as sharp as 70-350 at tele end.
@@cdtestlab oh okay. Thank you for your valuable feedback
The Sony is brighter at its wide end
This is the discussion nobody talks about. All I hear around is tanromn is really sharp. but the question is, how sharp is it in comparsion with this sony, because if it is sharp enough to get close to this one tanrom will be the choice defitnely 18-300 is a long focal lenght to go. Only reason I have yet to buy one of these is because of this same reason.
I paired this lens with a A6600. The results are very good, I no longer use LR because the JPEG files are wonderfull. Thanks for making this video for us. Have a nice day, Greetings from Amsterdam.
What is your favorite telephoto zoom lens for the E-mount APS-C cameras? or any other mount?
I bought this one for my 6700 and with a 100E cashback I payed 599 wchich is a very good lens for that price
its very sharp in my experience
I have canon gear. I would like buy a6700 + this lens. But changing the whole brand costs a lot more. But animal focus would be great for my hobby.
I did a comparison test between this lens and the Sigmma 100-400mm lens and the Sigma was not only more powerful but quite a bit sharper with more contrast too.
hocam yorumu görür müsün bilmiyorum ama ben yinede merakımdan sorucam. türk müsün? ingilizce aksanın aynı benimkisi gibi.
Thank you for the very insightful review. I think im going to pait it up with my a6600 w 18-135mm for all around use. Of course Ill add an excellent prime.
Glad you found it helpful! sure, those would be a great pair, I hear good things about the 18-135mm but haven't tried it myself yet. A fast prime will make the kit even more versatile, I like Sigma's f1.4 trio (well now they also have the 23mm F1.4) , 30mm F1.4 is my favorite one, small light and cheap :)
