I get so excited when I see a new Shark Happens video! I love that you don’t spend 20 minutes on each one with an over dramatic story, like the other animal attack videos do, and you give all of the details to paint the picture and tell a good account of the attacks.
They do a better job of explaining the human part of the attacks where i am mainly focused on the sharks behavior during them. Is funny how different it seems at times.

Great show again Hal, The guy that was attacked by not only a shark, but a rattle snake and punched by monkeys, it sounds like he is giving off a vibe that animals just don't like. He doesn't need to go on any Safaris or ride in a boat in Hippo territory. I'm sure he'd be a goner if he got around Hippos. 🤣🤣

@@RobinBerri The snake bite was worse. My dog was barking in the yard and I approached her. I felt what I thought was a bee sting on the back of my lower leg and I swiped it off. It was a small copperhead snake. I immediately drove myself to the hospital and had antivenin. A few hours later, the bite site was a purple/gray color and it stayed painful for a few days. The black widow spider had bitten me on a toe while I was sitting out in the sun. My toe was inflamed and red hot. I received antibiotics and an updated tetanus shot. So... I don't have to travel for my ordeals. I find them in my own back yard. Thank you Robin.

I attended Texas A&M University majoring in Marine Science until I was called up for Desert Storm. That definitely altered my career plans. Watching your show makes me grateful I never got into oceanography. You’d probably be doing a story on me being attacked which is a horrifying thought 💭.

Maybe I’m an out of the box thinker, but my opinion on Hal’s CZcams issues is the following………….There is an agenda in all facets of life. It’s definitely not just political. There is an agenda when it comes to Science/Nature and a lot of what Hal stands for concerning sharks (and his opinion on some of the experts) doesn’t follow their agenda. I most definitely think that all these different agendas have “gatekeepers/watchers” and Hal’s channel has been deemed more non-agenda than agenda. Therefore, he’s been flagged, censored and messed with. You can call me a conspiracy theorist and that’s ok. I think little by little the masses are waking up to the reality of “agendas”, and the dirty tricks played to push them. At the end of the day……most of these agendas float only one way.

You are one of the most professional and informative channels on youtube without doubt. It is extremely well done and look forward to each presentation. Thank you for your dedication on this most interesting topic. Since I was about 8 I have had a fascination, yet fear of these predators of the sea. We were on vacation south of Venice Florida and heard a radio broadcast of a boy attacked in shallow water knee deep and about my age. Decades later I discovered in doing research on the computer that this kid 7 to 9 lost his leg as a result of the attack. His older brother had I jury to his hands dragging shark and little brother out of the water. The older brother had an M1 carbine in his pickup and shot the shark getting his brother free and to medical care. Fast forward my middle brother Rick went to FSU and meets a guy who lived in Miami with one leg missing who lost it in a shark attack. It was the same boy in the attack I heard on the radio in 1958 or 1959. They had moved to Miami later. Oh I also felt it was a bull shark but according to my research it was a 7 foot Tiger Shark.
Wow. Those circular stories are always fascinating. Have some of my own i will probably throw into a couple videos in the future, just not about sharks. 1 involving Tommy Shaw from Styx

I gotta say I haven’t seen a Lifesavers’ Belt & Reel in eons. They used to be set out on all the Public Beaches & then more often during Competitions & probably now only during Comps & Displays.
