One of their neighbors was visiting, there's what set him off. Was that neighbor A different race did they smell different? The abusive owner was that person of the same race as the visitor? There's some indicators right there you know when a certain race raises a dog you can't adopt it out to a different race. Black people smell different than white people and dogs know the difference. That's why black people get really scared of a white person's dog because they know they smell different and the dog is likely to attack. And the same as the other way around a black person's dog smells a white person they're likely to attack. That's why for years white people had dogs to protect their property from black robbers and it worked so well. Them screaming oh the dog oh the dog how many times have you been to a drive-thru with your dog and drove up to the window and the black employee sees a white customer with their dog in the passenger seat and slams the slide window shut screaming oh the dog oh the dog

@MrJuvefrank not true, I had black neighbors who's grandson would taunt my dog by running up and down the fence with with a stick. It learned to hate blacks based on their behavior. Much like I have.

Did the dogs loyalty changed over to the visitor and was attacking the adoptee couple, protecting the visitor from them the dog was confused. Maybe the visitor was similar to the individual that raised him as a puppy. Maybe a different race. You know they can smell the difference
