- Found at an estate sale, this VHS tape contains another production by the man who showcased a variety of early ASMR triggers for a mail-order video in 1995. This installment features an exhibition of nature sounds from within Yosemite National Park.
In this lo-fi ASMR video, I play the role of Dr. Matt as he explores Yosemite Valley and presents several relaxing sounds made with naturally-occurring objects. This video includes soft speaking, leaf crunching, rock tapping, pinecone sounds, walking on gravel, and more. I hope you'll enjoy it!

Fun fact: this was originally going to be a horror ASMR video for Halloween, in which Dr. Matt encounters some creature or force he wasn't prepared for... but I ultimately decided to make this a more straightforward ASMR video. That's why you might notice a few suspicious moments of foreshadowing during this video -- most of it was filmed prior to deciding not to go with a horror ending. Don't worry, it's safe to fall asleep to! :)

I loved the eerie feel to this, this amazing character, the acting is superb and is ultimately legendary, the sense that he isn't truly alone and he somewhat knows that but at the same time is trying to ignore it, it's amazing

As soon as I saw your community post I knew this was coming. Weirdly enough, it gives me some "The Blair Witch Project" vibes, maybe because of the forest and 4:3 aspect ratio. It isn't scary, but it manages to give a creepy feeling of loneliness while also being relaxing. The video isn't even whispered, and yet your voice manages to be as relaxing as always. Amazing work, Matt, and I hope you are able to reach 150K soon and more since you deserve it!

Why is no one talking about how Unnerving and uneasy the cave scene was? One part he's following the red light, then boom, cuts to blue then to him looking somewhat shocked. This video would've been way better as horror than calming in my opinion.

I honestly love these 90's style videos you make but I have one weird piece of feedback: when you're holding the camera, the way that the camera moves tells me that it isn't very heavy (probably a smartphone). All video cameras in the era you're recreating were clumsy and heavy and unwieldy. This probably doesn't matter very much since most of your audience is focused more on the audio, but just wanted to give my two cents. Thanks for everything you do Matt!
