I’ve noticed doctors say that after a few weeks benzos lose all effect for insomnia, but I hear people who have taken them every night for years and years and they work just as well as they did on day one.

I’ve been on a benzodiazepine for twenty years. I have a rare Killian-Jamieson diverticulum at my C5 C6, which causes a choking sensation and causes me to panic. However, I’ve been on 1mg of Klonopin and it is still effective. Surgery is too risky.
