I love this guy like the little brother I never had and respect him a like my HERO because at 18 or 20 years old he had the balls to say "I'm gonna make up songs and be a folk singer" and then never looked back through the good the bad and the ugly of it all. Now he is a fucking national treasure. Just wish the rest of the nation would wake up and hear what they are missing. He is the best songwriter around for my money. I heard him offer this advice for budding troubadours "Don't worry about developing and act, just live your life and become the person you are and the act will follow" or something like that. I', misquoting him but my point is this guy is an amazing PERSON and that's what makes his songs and his "act" so cool. The humanity of it distinguishes a Todd song every time.
