I dunno, they already dropped like 4 singles for the thing before the album even released. Personally I think Ok Human was way more hype inducing both due to its style and also that we only got one song for it before release.
In my opinion, releasing all these singles builds my hype for the album

It’s because of the Coronavirus, the album was supposed to comes out a year ago but they wanted to release it with the tour (Hella Mega Tour) so a year later here we 😁🔥

I like how they went from shreddy loud guitars rock band music to a sorta chill orchestra songs, and then get back to loud guitar rock band music in less than 4 months. I'm so hyped for Van Weezer.

The engineering on this is soothing.
Suzy Shinn did an incredible job with the sound on this album. Shame many of the songs are kinda rough.
So far I liked all the songs from the album. I’m excited to listen the rest of it.

I hear a lot of EWBAITE which is cool, It was a great album. I don't hear enough of the Van Weezer vibe they set in the first singles though. Which bums me out just a little. Still a great song just feels a little out of place for the vibe they are looking for.

At this point the singles have been so consistently good it’s nearly assured that Van Weezer will be a great album. It’s nice to be excited for a Weezer album. I haven’t felt that way for a long time.
