Absolutely stunning. My first Mustang here in the UK was a 68 Candyapple Red Sprint B Coupe, looked identical to this. Unfortunately it only had a 289! An R Code fastback is my dream car.

What makes it a "1968 1/2"?
I think Cobra Jet package
They came out in April 68. I had a 68 1/2 GT fastback which was a 428 CJ. These were the first Fords to get the Cobra Jet engine
I'm in a small minority, but in '67-8 I prefer the coupe to the fastback. Never liked the true fastback of those two years.

I think it's more like Notchback and Fastback recognition. Both are technically coupes
