They were great! Definitely a good place to get tackle, bait, and local tips!
Good stuff man. This time of year live shrimp are hard to come by. Terrys in leeville or Bridgeside on the island are your best bet to get live bait but it isn’t reliable for another few months. On warm winter days, top waters and twitch baits work really well down there.

@@getthenet1015 i normally do but was wanting to do something a little different. I actually brought my surf gear then saw people catching on the side of the road 😳
I was wanting some cut bait for bull reds but my plan changed when I saw people catching on the side of the road. I mostly use artificial but wanted to give them a little shout out. Believe me I would’ve been throwing jerk baits if I were set up for it !

Where in grand isle is this, looks like a good spot for me to go fish all morning and come home with a few trout or something.
It was off of hwy 1. I literally saw truck after try and just had to find a free spot to park.
Looked like a pretty good day

It was fun, catching them from the road, I need to invest in a 10 foot surf rod to fling the bait out. The eight footer didn’t do the job. Something kept pulling the top shell off of whole crabs. Any idea of what would do that?
