Here's How You SHOULD Be Using Speakers Sight | Solar Warlock Build

  • Playing a support build does not mean you have to play passive, and this setup is taking the aggression made possible through infinite teamwide restoration to the extreme. Theres plenty of options in the solar warlock kit to keep yourself alive and alongside that options to make sure enemies are not. Hellion is one of the new options introduced and will end plenty of passive damage,and this just so happens to pair well with phoenix dive. And phoenix dive just so happens to pair well with heat rises. And heat rises just so happens to pair well with song of flame. And song of flame is just kind of broken.

      That's how i felt too, but after trying this build it changed everything. Prismatic is great but all of the things it offers are mostly surface level and it lacks the ability to really lean in to the power aspect of a specific element. Prismatic definitely has its uses for sure, but I would highly recommend giving the single element builds like this another try so you can experience it for yourself.

      Went from prismatic to this and I can’t switch back. Only when I’m solo’ing TFS content and I need to transcend to damage those enemies do I switch to prismatic, the survivability for the caster and team with this build along with amazing add clear and amazing boss dps is so nice.

    Interesting take on the build, im happy the heat rises interaction with the grenades wasn't a bug. So far, the standard healing build has turned GMs into strike tier difficulty.

    I'm thinking this setup with the solar rocket sidearm with heal clip incandescent as your solar is gonna go hard. No overkill healing like no hesitation but just an extra bump to spawn some extra orbs.

    Nah man, I've been running the basic healer build but the interaction with Heat Rises is THE game changer. I've used this build as a more aggressive healer and it's way better.

    Question: Would the healing turret still spawn if you consumed the healing grenade while using bleak watcher on prismatic? I had no idea the turrets would still spawn on the heat rises grenade activation.

    Nice change towards the build. I can definitely see myself using this over the standard variant. Being able to drop turrets inside of the super is also pretty neat!
    The only "drawback" to this is, that you are now longer providing resto x2 to your teammates. But it's probably fine because you are receiving other benefits and also more cure via heat rises.

    • @DuqkD2
      @DuqkD2  Před 19 dny +2

      I will say its also possible to run heat rises and touch of flames and you only lose out on the solar buddy this way. But I don't really see many situations where the resto x2 will be needed where with this setup you can just create a whole bunch more turrets and provide cure x3 quite often

    • @whosurjustin
      @whosurjustin Před 19 dny +2

      @@DuqkD2 So what you're saying is, this excels in anything but difficult content. The trade off for touch of flame vs. heat rises is laughable as you go up in difficulty. Even when sunbracers was the "meta", people still opted for icarus dash for the movement and survivability rather than higher uptime in melees with heat rises. AND this was when heat rises would DIRECTLY benefit sun bracers.
      Heat rises for a healing build is silly. If you want more DPS, use an exotic that leans more heavily in DPS. If you're going to use a support build, providing restoration x2 to teammates is invaluable. You sacrifice your own personal dps (and it's not much) for higher uptime for teammates to apply constant damage without having to duck to cover as often.
      Again, this build will excel in lower tier content for sure, but it's completely suboptimal as you climb in the difficulty levels. Not to say it's not viable (any good player can make any build work), but it's just objectively worse in a support heavy exotic/build.
      Lastly, if this build is meant for lower tier content, there are vastly more builds than can pump way more DPS, in addition to crowd control.

    • @DuqkD2
      @DuqkD2  Před 19 dny +6

      This is made more for higher end content. Heat rises will do a lot more for you than icarus dash here, I'm not suggesting floating out in the open. Moreso using it as a way to improve phoenix dive, spawn additional healing turrets, more benevolence procs with the cure it provides and the extra melees is nice too if you can get that going. The healing will be more than enough in the hardest content, sure it could be built into more but there comes a point where the extra amount is not really doing anything so other parts of this build focus on more damage based options.

    • @Feindfeuer_x23
      @Feindfeuer_x23 Před 19 dny +2

      @@DuqkD2 in addition to this, and especially for "endgame" content: if you are dying to burst-damage it's not like resto x2 would prevent that over resto x1. You still need to be aware of damage spikes and actively dodge stuff or take cover. So many people just keep holding W and run into everything because they are used to it. If @whosurjustin is complaining that this (perma resto x1 for teamates and resto x2 for yourself with additional cures) is not viable in difficult content, they need to reconsider if it's not a skill-issue. I played plenty of GMs, even solo, with no healing at all, so perma resto x1 is certainly excellent to have on the team lol.

    • @nullpointer5603
      @nullpointer5603 Před 19 dny +2

      @@DuqkD2Yep and I feel like this is better for solo hard content since benevelonce doesn't work there. Being able to get restox2 while also charging up incinerator snap really quickly with heat rises is better than just throwing healing grenades at your feet.

    @duqk what's the recommended stat distro? Looks like you went Resilience, Grenade, Intellect?

    • @DuqkD2
      @DuqkD2  Před 12 dny

      I always aim for 100 resil, other than that spec into grenade. I don't bother with intellect too much since most of the super regen comes from dealing damage rather than passively
