On that wall tag you should of cut it on a 45 down the the bottom then fold that bit you left on the bottom down flat, it helps cover the little pin hole that always happens when mitre around a wall.

I put the edge of my square on the flap you bend in and clamp it. There is more than one way to skin a cat though. Great video.

What function does the base trim perform, other than look good (thinking about vertical panels)?

On your fold if you used your greens you would have had a cleaner and easier time folding it because the green pushes it in the direction you want it to go. You'll notice with the red it actually pushes it the opposite way.

Do I need to do that if I have the "deluxe " corner trim that covers over that?

What’s the total length of base trim needed to make 2 outside corners (of a shed) that has a 10’ run? Ie do you make your cut at 10’ or do you add 2” on each side or another length to accommodate the corner? For example, 10’ run should be cut at 10’ 2” to accommodate a square building like a shed. Thanks!

It is possible to fold that round the corner so it is one piece instead of to pieces……. Just saying
