- WAG straight up went from a masterpiece to the godawful Lego Ninjago Movie...
Welp, that took way longer than I thought it would've, even longer than my last video... I'm so sorry to all of the newcomers who have been waiting actual months for an upload, I have just been so caught up with college and all that so I haven't really been able to find the time I once had. Nonetheless I am finding decent amounts of time here and there so hopefully uploads will get more frequent maybe? Honestly no promises but I hope to get something else out as soon as possible.

Once again awesome content man! It's interesting to hear your take on a movie that I so desperately wanted to be good. Even dumb child Jackson was able to see through the flaws of this movie, so good on you for calling out WAG for their over-confident production. Just because you released a good film doesn't give you the ability to slack off

2. The side plot had substance in s1-4 'which was not a side plot but the main plot of s1-2 . But only if you knew these characters beforehand and did not think the movie came first.
Lloyd and Garmadon are fantastic characters in the pre movie seasons even id Lloyd was too bratty and unfunny in the beginning of s1

bro when lego ninjago movie came out i was so hyped cause the og lego movie was my favorite movie at the time. let me just say-
it wasn't that good.
Tell me about it, the series had so much potential after that initial Lego Movie...
1. The "cartoon network" series ( as you call it )was not made by cartoon network and existed before the movie not obly after. Not only does this video ignore this and show a pre-movie clip saying the show is bad when it is leagues better then the ninjago movie. Season 0-10 is good or good enough but the show slacked a bit off after s11 but they tried to redeem it with s13 and s15.
The ninjago movie is not a parody of any thing. It is bad because it ignore the continuity of the tv show. However s8-10 was fantastict despite coming out right after the movie. Mainly because it was’nt funny but a good story that did not ignore show continuity.

Honestly I didn't really mean to make a heavy criticism against the TV show or anything. When I compared the movie to the series saying they were about on par it was a bit of a throwaway line that I didn't intend to really have much weight. I haven't seen the TV series for a while so I honestly can't intelligently weight in on it at all
And the movie isn't necesarily trying to be a parody of one specific genre or movie, but it is most certainly trying to parody certain conventions and tropes that are closely tied to action/kung-fu movies. I tried to give examples of this as best I could with the precarious dangle line, but I'm sorry if this wan't communicated very well. Honestly to your comments about it ignoring continuity of the show, I don't believe that the movie should need to rely on us having seen the show just because that's quite the commitment.

@@BenEleven1127 no but they could use time travel to explain it in the movie. Since s7 has time travel and the movie was originally meant to have the s7 elements. But yhat did not happen. I think it is fine as a standalone movie but it is not a good ninjago movie which bugs me but it is not a very good lego movie either which was proably why it lived up to no excepetations from anyone.
Ben what the heck!!! I freaking love Ninjago. But this stupid movie is not true to the lore at all?!??! It is so frustrating. The only good change is Lloyds voice actor. And Garmadons voice actor. And jays voice actor, but Zane’s new actor is doo doo
